I have watched DBZ and read quite a few manga. Not my thing. Plus, now that I'm older and look back, the art style annoys me just as much as Pokemon's lol

... Manga/Anime subsets... I dislike most Shounen, like good Shoujou, and love the Seinen and Josei Manga that I've read/watched so far...

I know Shonen is aimed at guys and Shoujo is aimed at girls, but what are those categories?

Shounen is aimed at 'Boys' as in young boys.
Shoujou is aimed at 'Girls'. Young girls these days.

Seinen is aimed for adult men, and Josei adult women; both are known to have great, detailed art, deeper stories with focus on character development, and more serious things.

HOTD and Angel Beats! are Seinen. So is... I think Heaven's Memo Pad is a Seinen too... And.... this other anime...
