I see you took my advise and used a different color for your outline^-^ (other then black) So how'd you like useing the different color? I think the blue made this pic pop pretty good^-^

I'm pretty happy that I used the blue! As you said, it made the picture pop! I think I'll be using different colors from now on. Where did you get the idea to use different colors, Van? It quite clever! Also, I am making a new ref sheet for Stained so you may want to start drawing Emerald and Alana before drawing her. You know, I could never understand how to draw Shadlights. They are so different and alien to what I've always seen and drawn, but thats part of what makes them so beautiful and etherial!

Thank you, I'm glad my creation has enchanted you so^-^ If you need help drawing Shadlights, I could make you a tutorial, or I could swap note you, which ever you prefur. And the different colored outline idea, started when I started drawing Shadlights. See I used a brighter color for their (Shadlights in general) outlines to give them a glowing effect. And when that came out looking pretty nice I thought what if I used a darker color, but yet still abit brighter then black for other drawings outlines, and there you have it^-^ I'm glad it has worked well for you. So if you need help drawing Shadlights I can make you that tutorial, or unless you'd rather be swaped noted, that would be fine with me. I'm also droping the Shadbrights just so you know the two different skin colors didn't work well with the species and I just thought it would be best to have the one. I'm telling you this cause I know Stain was a Shadbright, but it doesn't change her inicail desgin just her color abit. Sorry for the confusion, and change the whole Shadnight Shadbright thing just didn't sink well for me.

I heard you talk about sometime ago but I haven't heard anything about it since then.

I was thinking about making a comic telling about the rp we did have, but with a few modiffications, but if everyone would rather start the rp agian, or over even I would be more then happy to do that instead^-^ I'll have to ask everyone what they'd rather do when I post the tutorial. And you may wanna hold on that redesign till I get it posted, there may be some information that'll help with it. And I'd hate for you to get half way done then watch it and go "Oh, so that's, why did I..." If you know what I mean. Ya redesigning old o.cs is real fun cause then you get to look at the old then the new one and see all the great changes^-^ I mean my Shadless pics were Horrible I'm mean even Triton also used to look like crap but now I've really improved and I'm very proud of myself^-^ then you get thinking well if I improved this much now, how much will I improve then? Gets me exited for the future, and that doesn't happen often. It's a good feeling ain't it?

( thanks Deepdark-creepy! ) I could definately go with iether one of those! All three sound delightful! Would the story be like an actual comic with panels or would it be like the Changic story with one large picture and the story in the comments? I've been thinking about writing a story on here myself. It would probably be about Karoshi during her days as a general ( I can just imagine all of the old and complicated words pouring from her maw now ) or perhaps of Perpetual ( that would be a creepy story ). It would also give me a great excuse to make another account with the username being " Destroying Angel "! I'll hold off on the new design then. I'm in the very first stages so adjustments will be easy if I've drawn anything that doesn't coincide with Shadlight anatomy or history and so on. I'd love to know more about these guys! I would especialy like to learn about the war they had and if there was a war since you got rid of the Shadbrights and Shadnights. The feeling is terrific! I've looked back at my old paintings ( or atleast the ones I didn't deleat ) and I think " this is horrible " and " I could only draw abamonations ". I knew I was a terrible artist back them, but looking at them now I realize that I had no idea how unseasoned I was! I couldn't even shade and I could only draw side vews just last year! However, I can draw a miriad of creatures, I can draw from different angels, and I'm finaly becoming efficient in shading and highlighting! I still mess up on some occasions though and I hate it. I've noticed that most artists are like that: perfectionists. My hypothosis is that since we can't obtain perfection ( or beauty ) anywhere in life, we decide to try to make it instead. Some of us are actualy pretty good at it, like yourself.

You should put a story on here^-^ that would be alsome! K for the Shadless comic I'd use mainly panels, cause it would be focused more on conversation, and surroundings acasonally I'd do one big pic for when I have alot of writeing that can't fit in bubbles. The only reason why I draw a big pic for the Changic comic is because it focuses more on the story it's ment to be more of a book, or a animated series (one of these days I'll be able to do that) Shadlight anatomy can be kind of confusing, they're are a sort of dream creature you could say, I'll explain more in the tutorial. As for history I was also thinking about doing a short comic like the Changic one, for it would forcus more on the story. Anyways the answer is yes there was still a war but you know how Shadless' Father has the form of a skeleton? Well The war is between Shadlights who've taken the form of death or nightlight (or something like that still haven't come up with a good name for them) and Shadlights who have taken the form of life or Daylight (you know what, maybe they'll just have the same names Shadnight for death for Shadbright for life form, see I didn't like the different skin colors cause the Shadbrights ended up aways looking weird that's why I wanted death and life Shadless is both that's why he's shuned. So false alarm there are still Shadnights, and Shadbrights except the differences have changed uh I told you my mind wasn't working today, sorry) So the war is between them Shadbrights won, death forms are seen as evil, or dark magic yadayada yah I definatly going to make a short comic on this. But k.i.s.s. it (keep it simple stupid XD) Sorry I'm rambleing uh but I'll get that tutorial done sometime time tomarrow at latest I'll get it done thursday. Oh one more thing I forgot, your drawings were never, never Abominations!!! Exclumation point! You were drawing to the best of your abilities that you had at that time, and that's nothing to be ashamed of! I'm telling you this because I never had someone tell me this when I needed someone too... See back then, fact I still do it now... but anyways I would look back and I'd see nothing but failure in my art... I would see and hear the flaws that my parents would point out... I would tare them to shreads cause of how horrible I felt about my failures... I never saw that, that was all I could do then, that, that was done to the best of my abilities... all I saw was the dispriportions, smugges, flaws, everything that was wrong... I could even rehear/live all the cruteaks people gave me, that had no meaning then because I was doing the best I could... they came back and haunted me... so I destroyed them... lol that's one of the many bad things about being a perfectionest... you see everything... and it frustrates you... that you can't do better... you ask yourself why you can do better... I'm telling you this cause... well no told me this when I needed to hear it... but don't hate your art cause there are flaws, it is the best your abilities will allow... but your abillities grow with time... sorry if this seemed like a bunch of rambled mess it's just late, and I'm tired, I wanted you to hear this cause I'm a perfectionest by bad habbit and that does me more harm then good... I don't want you to feel that kind of pain... Don't beat yourself over imperfections, lol you might end up like me O_o wait uh mind not working today sorry just Do what you can to the best of your abilities and as you drive on, you'll discover new ones that'll help improve yourself... and remember you aways have friends you can count on to help you out, so if you ever need any tips points, anything, just ask... Aw. A Shadless comic would be pretty cool ( I just adore Shadlights ).You did a really good job with the tutoral! It made perfect sence to me! Now I just haveto decide what outline is apropriate for a white shadlight. I'm thinking about perhaps changing Stained into a Shadnight just for kicks ( her new mask would go pretty well with it ). Oops! I've just realised that white won't work with a Shadlight. I'll haveto pic a different color. Perhaps this time I'll make her marking white snd her overall color black. So you have a job. Thats great! What I'd give to have one, but I'm afraid my age holds me back. What a shame. Atleast I was able to make money haying this year. Ack! Hay. You flip it, rake it up, and hull it away. It takes weeks. Its also very unpleasant. You spend hours in the humid air during the afternoon accumulating blisters from raking up hay as the sun beats down on you and you do it for hours, but it must be done and I was paid so I really shouldn't complain about it ( atleast its over ).

Sounds like a nice job, especialy since have a night shift! No people, no sounds, air conditioning, heating, and nothing to hinder your work. Just you and your job ( unless the library is busy at midnight to three a.m ). Ofcourse theres the fatigue, but I'd definately take that job over haying. Lol. I'm not a fan of the Mario games. I do play pokemon, though. I was shocked when I heard you had never played a pokemon game! " WHAT?! But everyone plays pokemon! Everyone loves it! Its a corner stone of our civilzation! Okay one the vacum makes 'plenty' of noise, two the plug hinders me DX but other then that it's a pretty nice job, only takes me two to three hours. Pokemon my parents band alot of things in the house pokemon one of them, I can still play it now, they just banded it when I was little. Yah I was a sheltered child, so when I got out, BOOM! I was caute completly unpropared... That's why you never shelter a child, you have to expose them just enough so they know what it's like... I mean my family never bought a consul till I was ten! I didn't know how to use the internet till I was around fourteen fact I still have trouble with it! Everytime I ask my dad for help with something on it he'd grumble and go on how stupid I am! If he'd just show me in the first place I wouldn't need his da.mn help! It's just errg parents are so frustrating! Why would you bring a child into this world and not prapare him, her, it!?!

Indeed, people must let their children know what the world is like in order to be properly prepared, especialy during these times. Letting them see too much, however, will damage them. Its a tricky buisness. I've heard of people whom don't even know about Disney World. The largest and most extravegant theme park in the world, and they've never heard of it. That says something. Yes, parents are frustrating to their kids and kids are frustrating to their parents. It goes both ways I'd suppose. You know, if I ever acquire a game that you have and it has mulyiplayer on it, I'll challenge you to a game. Mario Kart Seven has multiplayer on it, right?
