Whenever we paint, we often make regretted mistakes and we try to fix them, its not that they're bad, we just dont like them.
This painting of mine is full of regretted flaws, but instead of trying to fix them, I let them be. Just because we don't like a piece of our art doesn't make it bad, in fact it can be very beautiful and unique to others. Just not neccessarily to ourselves in that particular moment.

I don't particularly like contests, they always stress me out, but as I wrote the description I found that it somewhat fit in Rogue Ranger's contest, so I tagged it.
The Quality is lowered even more since I uploaded it. xD
Oh well.

Not everyone is obsessed with realism. Abstraction as an art form probably began with mistakes, trying to make something else. Then a whole new world opened, letting feelings be expressed, vagueness and ideas. To me, this is amazing!

Only you know what you truly wanted to do with this. It sounded like you were partially giving yourself advice, since you didn't like how things were going with this but needed to learn to accept how it turned out. Though I know it's hard to convey much in the limited descriptions. I'm always maxing those things out... How would you describe your style? I mean, in general?

I sympathise with your statement. The great thing about art is that it an be interpreted by many different perspectives.
