"Okay.." I say and then 'barks' and I scramble up to the top of the fence and jump to the other side while Tom jumps over the fence. I suddenly freeze and feel a pain at my stomache. "T-Tom!" I meow, "I think the kits are-are coming!" "Uhh.." He said then tossed a stick to me, "Just bite down on that and yeah I don't know anything el-" He is cut off as I bite down on the stick, scre aming over the stick. Tom put his paws over his ears and closed his eyes as 1 kit is born, then a second one.. then finally a third.. I lick them clean quickly and smile over at Tom. "You can open your eyes now." I say softly and pick two kits up, Tom picking up a third as we quickly run as far as we can. We stop at a big oak tree and put the kits down. "What shall we name them?" He asks. "Let's name this one.. Esperanza. It means 'hope'." I said nudging a orange she-kit that had brown tabby stripes. Tom nodded and touched the tom-kit with his tail, it was brown with orange legs, "How about this one named Honey Bark?" I nod, "Perfect." I look over to the last kit, a orange tom-kit with a brown chest, belly, tail and ears. "He's almost just like you.. how about Tim?" I say, looking to Tom. "Tommy is better, don't you think?" He says. "Yeah.... Tommy sounds better. He'll be named Tommy." I smile. "Let me just fix sometjing real quick.." He says and rips off my collar. I gasp and feel at my neck. "I like it.." I say as I hear footsteps. My owners.
