The world of art is a much sadder place now that Flipnote Hatena has passed away. It's too tragic for even my words to describe.

I miss Hatena majorly too... If Hatena never came around I would suck at drawing... I would go on fur hours about it... When they shut down my life ended (even if I didn't go on anymore cuz I couldn't draw on da DSi anymore)

IKR?! Like,not to complain but it's just like posting art instead of flipnotes!
But,it's good to have a subsitute until Flipnote 3D comes out!Right?^w^'

I'm sorry, don't think of me as a jerk but I'm just trying to express my opinion.

First- What did you expect? There's less people here. At least some of your former fans were kind enough to track you down here

Second- At least it has a website where you can share your art

Third- Wasn't everyone complaining about hatena when we were there? Because theres a ton of a lot less FRs Stealers and Starbeggers here.

Fourth- I'm glad I have less fans. It's a new start that helps me learn what I'm capable of, and helps me learn to appreciate my fans all the much more. I still get excited over every single follower and look at there work like I did three years ago, and that will never change. My jaw still drops when I gain more than one fan at once. This just gives me the time to be even more thankful for what I have.

Fifth- It's drawing, not animation, meaning I can focus on every little detail so everything I do comes out as detailed as I want, instead of having to rush over those little things.

Sixth- I'm glad all the people I've met here are so friendly to me, and I'm glad that I can call the people that have never even heard of hatena followers or strangers, and even friends.

Seventh- UNLIMITED FAVORITES AND FREE MEMBERSHIP TO THE SITE. ENOUGH SAID.

Don't think of me as a jerk or anything, but I've heard five people complain about the exact same thing: It's not like hatena. Of course it's not, and it shouldn't be! In some ways it's even better! I love Colors and I take somewhat of offense to that. Hatena's population was half immature kids and theifs. As for less fans, what does it matter? It should only make you appreciate each one that much more.

So please, hear me out. I know what you're saying but this is good too, and when you compare it to something else like that you're looking down on the site itself when it might be considered better to some people. So please, stop. I'm just trying to help you see the bright side.

we all miss that website... i was never famous there though(im more recognized here) but i still miss it...

Sigh, this is how alot of us former Hatena members feel. To me Colors-3D feels less friendly and welcoming, here at least 55-percent of the art is innappropriate or people ranting. Hopefully Flipnote Memo will be just as good as the first, though I still am uneasy about this new "coin system" and monthly fees...

Yeah, I guess your right. But I miss doing RPs, chains, and MVs. But we can do much better paintings on here :) I mean, this site is better than nothing. I'm happy I can finnally talk to my friends again and post my drawings. And yeah, so far I haven't seen a single noob, so in a way this place is better. And unlimited favorites is just awesome XDDDD
But I still miss Hatena, and the new one isn't coming out 'till after school starts. But I'm still glad I have this site. :3

Better than nothing seems like a bit of an understatement. I'm probably not gonna rejoin flipnote. I'll still use all the hatena services though. Hatena didn't shut down, only flipnote did.

Personally I never liked hatena as much. Mv's took too long, too much pressure, it was time consuming, and it took 30 minutes to post. I also still do rp's on here. :3

I'm even planning on making a club, or a contest. Maybe some sorta group. :3

Aw, I really hope you rejoin. Your awesome at animating XD And the other hatena sites seem really boring to me XDDDD And starting a club sounds really cool, I never did that on Hatena. <XD

what i HATE is how i only cared about popularity. like what the fjck?? i wouldve had a much better time here if i wouldve just accepted my follower count and be grateful for it. now, i kinda think i had more followers than i deserved back then. wt,f i shouldve been grateful!!! instead of constantly complaining about followers and likes
