Bass/Forte by SonicRider01
Probably spent more time experimenting with the background than needed (over an hour, its a miracle that I put that much effort in a bg for once :T). I started experimenting with a bg technique I found in a tutorial ( #bgtutorial for those who want to learn the technique), then suddenly, I've got an epic background. Then I messed around some more and, well... this happened.

Holy....this guy...I just realized he's either...no wait, he is Axl from the X series, like Zero is Protoman. Awsome job!

Actually its Bass (Forte if you use his Japanese name) from the classic Megaman games, but I'm glad you like the painting.

Actually bass/forte was the prototype of zero,Dr.wily created both.

Yep! Very true. Also, to add more trivia, it's pronounced BASE, not bass as in fish. He was also created after Dr. Wily discovered Bassium, and Bass strives to prove that he is the greatest robot in the universe.
Good job. I especially like what you did to the jewel sitting on his head and his purple streaks.
