I was originally going to have Dominiq and Silent be best friends, but they became more incompatible as I developed each of their characters. I also started to notice how well Dominiq could interact with Mander so I made them friends. Not really *best* friends, since their relationship isn't exactly healthy, but they do enjoy each other's company.
