Yes, Sonic is technically considered a furry. Furries are also known as Anthropomorphics, animal beings with rational thought and/or a human-like body along with non-animal speech. Same thing also goes for reptilian anthros, or mor commonly known as Scalies. Oh and just to let you know Mario...the Tanuki suit is basically a fursuit

eh, I'd say no. Sonic OCs may be in the animal charateristics, but they should be in a completely different catergory by themselves. Furries, honestly, are kinda dumb. :/ My opinion, completely diff from Sonic.
