I dont think Lucario will return cuz he's 2 Genorations ago. Also Im not shure about Geno since Nintendo hasnt mentioned SMRPG in years. More likely characters are probably Waluigi,Bowser Jr., Paper Mario, Birdo, Dixie Kong, another metroid Character, and male Wii Fit trainer.

I´m setting my bets for Ridley, Paper Mario, Shulk and Chrom to be in the game.
Including the WiiFit instructor actually makes a lot of sense if you think about it. I wouldn´t bebsuprised either if a Mii was going to be included in the game.
Including Nikki doesn´t seem do far fetched either anymore 9v6

I wouldn't count Lucario out just yet. He's incredibly popular for a non beginer/legendary Pokemon and he really fits well in the game with his unique aura mechanic. Though, there's always that possibility unfortunately. T-T

As for Geno, he was going to be in SSBB, but was taken out due to complications with Square Enix who technically owned him. If people can get their acts together there's a chance he could make it in this time.

The reason Capcom has been canceling Megaman games is because the creator of Megaman left Capcom.

Lol I know I said I didn't want her in but ehh shes kinda growing on me. I wouldn't bet on Ridley even though he would be really cool. He's so big and shrinking him down wouldn't be natural. I liked Lucario in Brawl but like mewtwo I think he'll be replaced by Zoruark. It'd be cool if they kept Lucario and brought mewtwo back (He was my favorite) and brought in some new pokemon. Having a Unova styled PKMN trainer this time would be cool Emboar Servine and Oshawott. I dont think they should get rid of Ganon, the villains are always massivily outnumbered. Bring in K.Rool and (this is such a long shot its not even funny) Wart. Im thinking Wart will be in Super mario 3D worl, heres why: The game has Mario, Toad, Luigi, and Peach, just like in Super Mario Bros 2. Now before you tell me Wart was a dream he also appeared in the legend of zelda (not the original one of the games)Also bring in Thanatos like I said more Villains. Phosphora would be cool also. I count Pitoo as part of brawl because he was one of Pits costumes. One more cool feature that would be interesting is having costumes such as Dark Pit still be costumes but the announcer would day dark pit is the winner so we could reduce the compkaining of clones. It would add more chatacters and still have a good sized roster here are some examples: One of bowsers costu es could be dry bowser and when he wins it would say, The winner is Dry bowser, or having the shiny forms for all the pokemon (I know they did this but they didn't do it for all of them) or having one of Fox's costumes be james. We could also have a Team Rocket/Plasma/Galactic trainer and make them have different pokemon.

lol, this is awesome XD. Mega Man is very cute and funny in this picture. I didn't even expect the Wii Fit trainer nor the Villager from Animal Crossing to even make an appearance in SSB. It just seems odd to have those characters in the game in my opinion (Mega Man, however, is an awesome addition to the game if you ask me).

I don't think Phosphora is going to be in it. With Nintendo's history of reskinning and slightly altering I'd say Dark Pit would be Nintendo's choice if they put another KI Uprising character in. And popularity would probably win out as well.

And I'm pretty sure they would just give him the weapons he uses in Chapter 6. I could see the Ogre Club being used as a left/right special instead of Pit's Upperdash Arm.

MrPenguine: Dark Pit's most likely going to be a palet-swap for Pit. If anything, I think it's more likely Magnus will be in the game. I'm hoping, however, that Sakurai will play favoritism with Kid Icarus uprising and give it more than just one new character (I mean, he prety much did that with the Kirby franchise in SSBB). Besides, as Sakurai has proven before, he doesn't just add characters people expect, and popularity isn't always the determining factor either.

Saying Lucario will be replaced is based on an assumption of a pattern that hasn't been established. There are several reasons why Lucario replaced Mewtwo and not all those reasons apply to this scenario. I could explain it here but I don't want to bore anyone unless they're willing to listen.

No! No Pacman. I know that he is a big part of gaming history but he doesn't work as a figthing character it SSB. What all would he even do!? I could see him as an Asist Trophey, not a playable character.

Ya I am just assuming, my sister was laughing in my face when we found out Mewtwo was replaced. Lucario is her favorite and Mewtwo is my favorite, ethier way I won't be happy if Lucario leaves but I'll get go see my sister devestated XD

For Kid Icarus I think they will put Palutena because she's the most important character and she's also really cool. I think some cuts will happen tho. My most wanted character is Pauline and I hope he would put her in the game.

Because the Fire Emblem fighter that is not Marth has always been replaced by the most contemporary protagonist.
Additionally, FE:A has been very successful internationally so featuring Chrom now would make a lot of sense. :P

Palutena shouldn't be put in otherwise Pit cant fly or use his final smash

^True, pretty much what I've been saying.

Though since we haven't seen Pit's final smash in this game yet, there's a possibility they could change it to something else. However, the fact he can't fly without her power still stands.

I don't think Palutena being playable would be a problem due to Smash Bros being too canon. But if you are worrying about Pit not being able fly, remember Viridi can give Pit the power of flight as well.

Eclipex: It's not a matter of wether or not it's cannon, it's an important aspect to Pit's character. Pit has a unique relationship with Palutena as they rely on each other greatly in different ways. Pit is completly devoted to serving her and would only raise his weapon against her in the most dire of circumstances. Having them battle against each other in a random match would just be out of character. I think Sakurai probably understands this better than anyone since he directed Kid Icarus Uprising. Not saying it would never happen, but considering there are plenty of other good options (Magnus, Phosphora, Thanatos, or even Hades) I just don't see it as simple as Palutena being included just because of popularity.

I never considered that T.Palidin. Honestly I was only thinking of Power of Flight, I never took their relationship into consideration. You bring up excelent points there. I also played Uprising and uderstand exactly what you are talking about.

^Of course there's a double standard though. Palutena might not be playable, but she will probably be in the game more than most non-playable characters because of said relationship. I could almost imagine them including a feature similar to Snake's codec where Palutena talks to Pit during a battle about his oponents. I'd honestly love to see that. :)

Pit can fly with Viridi's power of flight as seen in Uprising so it's ok to put Palutena in.

I haven't play KI:U, so I don't know for sure how similar it is, but Link fighting Zelda, Mario fighting Peach, etc. are pretty out of character as well. I know the ralationships are different, but I can't imagine them fighting each other in character, possesion not withstanding.

Hey Time was Mario RPG a good game I only know Geno from youtube videos and other Geno fams like you, is Geno a villian or hero? Sorry for asking so many questions, just Geno is kinda like a mystery to me

^ Nintenartist, I am not Time Paladin but I can tell you a bit about Geno and SMRPG. Super Mario RPG was Mario's first RPG game ever and Geno is your 3rd party member. He was my favorite to use from the game. But sense Square soft (now SquareEnix) developed the game they own the rights to most of the characters from that game, and that is the main reason why Geno hasn't been playable in another game. He did cameo in Mario & Luigi: Super Star Saga, but only as an instruction doll in a game machine...

Yeah, SMRPG was a great game and Geno was one of the best to characters (correction: THE best character) introduced in the game.

Jukilum: In all honesty, they have a sort of big sister/little brother relationship, but that's a lot more substantial than "Thank's for saving me Mario, I'll bake you a cake. :3" As for Link and Zelda, it really depends on which game to determine their relationship. Not saying they'd fight each other under normal circumstances, but it's not nearly as bad as it would be for Pit to fight Palutena (and if you play Kid Icarus Uprising, you'll actually see how bad that is).

Magnus or Palutena would be a great addition to SSB4. Being that Phosphora was only in like 2 or 3 chapters, I don't think that she should take up any space on the roster. She would be a great as sist trophy though

^You do realize Magnus also only appeared in two or three chapters as well, so you can't really say too much about that affecting Phosphora's odds. As for Palutena, I've already said several times why I don't think she's the best choice. Phosphora might not have high chances but I don't think Palutena is as likely as everyone thinks she is either.

I swear if I lose to the wii fit instructor while I'm using a swordsman(I am best with em:D-and some others O.C.)... D: I'll have to consider using fox in my noob wepon style XD. (I beat three experienced teenage players in SBB when I was ten-this was my FIRST game... noob wepon style is amazingthough they weren't as good as they tried to act. They aimed for me after that XD)
