Rain started to pour down from the skies. The moon shined behind a slim figure with a blue coat. "You showed up." The blue coated man turned, now facing his red coated sibling.
"You sure know how to throw a party!", Dante replied, walking around a bit. "No food, no drinks, and the only babe just left."
"My sincerest apology brother," Vergil said. "I was so eager to see you, I couldn´t concentrate on preparations for the bash."
Dante chuckled. "Whatever, at any rate, it´s been a whole year since we last met." He raised his arms a bit. "How about a kiss from your little brother? Or better yet how about a kiss from THIS!" He suddenly pulled out his gun ebony, pointing at Vergil.

A moment of silence followed, the twins staring at each other motionless while the rain poured down on them. A thunder flashed behind them.
Finally, Dante spoke: "So this is what they call a heartwarming family reunion, eh?"
"You got that right", Vergil replied, pulling out his Sword Yamato.
The brothers suddenly launched at each other and started fighting. Both blocking each other´s attacks with their own swords. Vergil used his fast movements to attack Dante but the latter used Rebellion and his other weapons which he gained from the inside of the tower to hit back. After constantly fighting several minutes, both breathed hard and Vergil´s hair stuck to his face so that now both of them looked exactly like each other. At least, Dante launched at Vergil with Rebellion, who blocked the attack and hit with the back of his sword against Dante´s stomach. The impact sent Dante hitting against a statue. Not losing any time he quickly pulled out his second gun Ivory and shot at his brother.

Vergil swung his sword, catching all the bullets which flew at him. He positioned them all in line on the ground and suddenly launched them up with his katana, hitting them so that they flew back at the owner. Dante quickly reacted and used his sword Rebellion to deflect the bullets.
"Why do you refuse to gain power? The power of our father Sparda?", Vergil asked. Dante cuckled again. "Father? I don´t have a father. I just don´t like you, that´s all."
Both twins suddenly ran towards each other, Yamato and Rebellion colliding in between them. Holding them against the other, the force they used to do so heated the swords, making them glow orange. But in the end, one sword had to lose. Vergil used his sword to disarm Dante, Rebellion flying through the air. Then, he used Yamato to stab his own brother. Blood came out of Dante´s mouth and he gasped from pain. "Foolishness, Dante," Vergil twisted his sword gaining a groan from his brother "Foolishness... Might controls everything. And without strenght, you cannot protect abything. Let alone yourself." Vergil pressed his hand against Dante´s shoulder, pulling out the sword and sending him back to fall on the ground. But not without grabbing Dante´s amulet, ripping it´s silver chain in the process. Dante tried to grab it, but one fling at his hand from Yamato prevented him from doing so.

Dante´s back collided on the ground, emitting a splashing sound from the water. Vergil lifted up the amulet from his brother, eying it closely. Then, with a shift from his hand, he glided it over his hair so that it got back in place. He turned and started walking away, but not without taking Rebellion from the ground. Dante shifted, trying to stand up, but immediately was stopped by his brother who suddenly turned back and stabbed Rebellion into his owner, gluing him to the ground. Dante passed put, a puddle of his own blood surrounding him.
"Do you finally have it?" A bald man with twinchromatic eyes and a scarred face suddenly appeared from nowhere, walking towards Vergil. "Yes! Now the spell Sparda cast will be broken!", Vergil replied. Both men walked away.

A few moments passed. Then, Rebellion suddenly glowed. The skull ornament on it´s handle opened it´s mouth and the sword changed. With a splashing sound, Rebellion somehow released itself from the ground, freeing it´s owner. The water on the ground flew up like a fountain and within a second Dante was back up on his feet, charging towards Vergil. The older brother used Yamato to dodge the sudden attack, catching Dante´s hand in the process. Dante stared evily at his brother, clutching his teeth. Red light surrounded his body as he growled at his twin. "I see, a devil inside you has awakened as well", Vergil said coldly.

i feel like im actually watching it. im lost who is good who is bad. it almost seems as if they are both bad in some way.

dante is good their both nebilm wich mean their parents were 1.angel 2.demon dante tried to help the planet out of good will vergil seemed to want to help but only to enforce his own rule on the world.

oh all the wonderfull memories flooding back ....oh all of those bosses that were pretty hard to beat... and that anoying whale like thing leval... oh the weopons tis all flooding back. vergil's story was fun for a while but once i noticed their was no story i got bored
