I have the pikachu XL, and I'm getting the animal crossing XL tomorrow. I used to have a normal 3ds, and omg, the screens are so tiny.

The normal 3DS; it's cheaper, shiny and isn't as big as a brick.

Resolution is better on 3DS. I can hardly read the text in Monster Hunter 3 on XL because the graphics are so grainy. I wouldn't mind owning an XL, but I'm happy with my 3DS.

ok, it may have looked kinda cool when it came out but, two hundred bucks for a xl! i could buy two three ds for that kinda money. anyways, the xl is so ugly it doesnt look like two hundred dollar quality im happy with my regular three ds

i have both and ill have to go with the 3dsxl

i have a wii,a ps2,a 3ds,a 3dsxl,and 2 ds lites.i can't decide.the xl isn't really the size of a brick.the 3ds is cute and small.

I like the 3DS more than the XL because it can fit in your pocket easily and is more convenient when u take it with u to a place for Playcoins and StreetPass tags.

Considering that I only own a Nintendo ThreeDS (and PC), I wouldn't be able to decide accurately which one I like better. Overall, the ThreeDS just looks better, and has a much better value for the hardware itself. ThreeDS XL might have larger screens and be more ergonomic for those with larger hands, but the design isn't as pretty as the ThreeDS.

Although I haven't experienced or even held a ThreeDS XL, I'd choose the regular ThreeDS because I don't feel like I'm burning a hole in my wallet by buying a slightly larger version of an already good handheld device.

I find the XL far better. The screens are bigger. The battery life is longer. The stylus is far better. The shiny 3DS is a slippery fingerprint magnet. The clicky d-pad of tne XL is the best d-pad I have ever used. The only things that make it worse are the higher price, not having an AC adatpor and bigger = less portable.

3DS XL, I only wish the resolution on the screens was higher. c:
