Chai Kingdom by Stalker Blade
This is how I think the Chai Kingdom from Super Mario Land would look if it was in more games. I guess its not bad, since my only reference was an 8-bit background from the Gameboy.

I think it would be really cool if they made a 3D Mario where you visited all of the areas from this game.

This looks much more beautiful than the original Chai Kingdom. I love that background.
Also, the plants look very detailed too. Both Mario and the Japanese guy here are well-drawned.

They should make a 3D collection of all of the Mario games in one.
