Just a drawing of one of my 5 characters, Amber Maple, Yawning and stretching after a long nap. LOL.
I made this using absolutely no refs, so I had to just try to visualize how a stretching canine would look (obviously not realistic) and it was real hard to get the form/shape correct!

I adore your art, especially all of the canines. Have you done any monkeys? "Dragon" would normally be the first suggestion off my tongue, but I'm hosting a contest now that's challenging artists to create their own Manic Monkey. The winner, above all else, gets to name my OC who's gone around nameless the past six or seven years. Didn't mean to ramble, but a contest (besides mine... and including it) should get your creative juices flowing! : )
