Jonah hey! I got to see your comment on my art post I put up with my souncloud.
It's been a long while, maybe near a year I've been on again? Don't worry about your critique at all. Haha - My piano skills are pretty limited. When you mentioned about branches in details of the basics I don't think, I couldn't agree more. I've never studied it formally, I mostly just listened to a lot of music I liked till I thought of trying something myself. That's a lot of where it comes from I think. I'm not as impassioned with music as doing art: More an appreciation than aspiration.
But, it seems my post did what was intended! Glad you got to check it out and even more that you left a reply. Nice appreciation for music yourself too, if not aspiration if you pursue it seriously?
Cool art pieces, especially this. I do wish more often than not that somehow paintings on here could afford more space. Painting large with good control shows up well with this here - I can only imagine what a piece would be otherwise without the feeling that there's a constraint. I like the developed round shape, and how the facial features are placed. Their porportions aren't disracting as a portrait.
