you'll get one soon or later, it sucks though you draw original stuff and get nothing for it, but when you draw mario or my little pony then you get five hundred stars regardless of the quality

Why does it matter if you get a gold star or not? I understand that it'd be really awesome to have one seeing as lots of artists (i.e MO.SAID, The Cartoon Guy, etc) make it seem so simple and effortless, but don't make it your number 1 priority. Draw because you really enjoy to draw, not because you expect some sort of "reward" for the art you do.

to rozbi... i 100 percent argee that your number one goal is to draw for the fun of drawing and not for likes, but when you put hours into a piece that has original characters or just is original and then get two likes for it sucks, especially when the piece next to yours is some crappy drawing of sonic or a trace of a my little pony character that has fifty likes
