Nice one! Using references is a must if you want to be accurate with something like this, you did well m8. This is nothing like tracing. Btw, i stoped voting in trace art. Original artists should´nt be in the same pool as tracers...
Aaron, thankyou. I was amazed that you'd even look at my art, let alone say something as nice about it as you did. Your an incredibley kind, talented guy, and terrific work on this peice. Can't wait to see what you draw next!
Reference is the right word. We ALL reference, be it from memory, pictures, art, whatever. Everything is a reference. Some people have the ability to gather from a wider number of references and combine them. That's all. Its an acquired skill, it needs practice. Also, tracing can be a very valid way of learning some visual skills, though its true that it can severely constrain the artist if he gets fixated and doesn't expand to make the piece hisher own. But there is intrinsically nothing wrong with esither referencing (we all do it) or tracing (even though an artist shouldn't stop there or he will become stagnant).
Just my 2 cents on an interesting debate.
Also, amazing painting!
Incredible! Very realistic, I love this style! About the traced polemic, I don't have nothing against it. I made four of this type after my Big Daddy painting, and it's not easy as people think. Instead its hard to do it perfectly. My recent paintings is observation of photos but if I wanna go back tracing I see no problem.
This looks really good! I don't really know what else to say... Incredible work! And thank you for taking the time to draw these fantastic monuments! :]
Aaron, I mean like WHOA I love it! It looks supa real! Thank you, thank you....You are a very good artest....best picture I've seen on this game! Nice job, Aaron! May The Force Make You Draw Another Great Drawing!
