Shards of Time by The_Cheese
The hero Garneth has a shard of an object called the "Amethyst of Ages" stabbed in him by his arch-enemy, now he is warping through time whenever the Amethyst does. The shard is also kind of a ticking time bomb, he could die at any given moment. He now travels through time, attemting to thwart the evil Lancelyn, the current holder of the Amethyst.
