Poor kids in such a hurry to grow up, or feel like they need to, or that dating automatically means they are mature and know what love is. They may, but their grasp is forever loose at best. Thats what you learn with age.
Its very sad really, they dont know better but they are essentially missing out on the kid essentials. 11 or 8 is horridly too young to be concerned about such things. Bad parenting might have a part of it, the parents need to be more involved and encourage the right pace. One thing at a time.

oh, and here in my town, tneres a 'disco' for 12 year olds where all people do is meet( if you dont know what meeting is, its snogging/ making out). well, that's what you get when you let your kids live in cork xDDD
