Wow, somehow you did everything out of focus in the background just slightly. With the lack of pure black, it reminds me a bit of seeing something through glass.

Thank you for your feedback about my contest! I understand that many people have a need for attention and, if they don't get it, they feel like giving up. As you know from my How To Get Likes tutorial, I often use this desire for attention as a way to change people's behavior. But, with that tutorial I also learned that it's hard for many people to jump from "check my gallery" straight to constructive feedback, taking time on art, community support and friendship. So I'm hoping that this will not only encourage discouraged artists but also transition them toward my ultimate goal by first focusing on something simple that I feel everyone can do. As the contest progresses, I'm hoping people will try to come up with even more variations on the idea and push the boundries. I was worried that people mind think it's cynical of me to think that people needed to be rewarded for being nice, but so far most of the commenters seem on board with the whole idea and see how it can help other artists. When I read things like, "I know so many struggling artists and I want to help them," I have hope because, for those people, they're ready to go beyond when I enevitably ask them to.

I appreciate your insight and I might be totally wrong with how this will play out, but I guess we'll see! I'm hoping it helps!
