(I changed my name) Hailm sat in the backyard looking at her dragon, everyone says that she's a demon. She doesn't believe that. "I have your heart young child." The Dragon said finally. "Would you stop saying that!?" Hailm yelled.

Skye sat in her front yard, climbing a tree in her cat form. The tree was very tall, and had 2 thick branches coming out of the stump with a hammock in between. She sat on one of the branches and watched the birds fly by happily.

"You never address me by my name, Dragon!" The Dragon smiled. "But you never address me by my name." "Well, what is your name!?" Hailm demanded. "Hailicfer. And for now on I shall call you by your name, Hailm." "'Bout time too!" Hailicifer unfolded her wings. "May we see a friend so mine?" The Dragon asked, "Uh, sure. Who?" "Her name's Skye."

Griffon flew down from the sky 'im Griffon!'Griffon said

Griffon examined Hailicfur 'dragons.....'Griffon said flying to a tree

"Griffons." Hailicfer mumbled. "What was that?" Hailm asked. "Nothing. Let's just contiue, we're almost there."

"Here we are, Skye?! Skye?! Where are you Skye!?" Hailicfer called. "Up here!" Skye called and waved her paw. Skye bounded down the tree and turned to a human.

Griffon smiled 'im not a griffon im a huffon half human half human!'Griffon screeched [screamed]

Hailicfer looked up. "Don't care!" She roared. "Fly away now or I'll burn you to a crisp!" Hailm looked at Skye. "I'm Hailm." "Skye. Nice to meet you."

Griffon shapeshifted to a dragon [yes she shapeshiftes to anything!]'see i can shapeshift to anything!'Griffon said

Hailicfer snorted. "Um, Hailicfer how in the world are you gonna beat her? She's 3 times bigger than you!" I say to Hailicfer. "Don't worry I grow." Then Hailicfer started to grow 4 times bigger than her smaller self.

Then Griffon turned to a demon dragon the most powerful,strongets,and largest dragon on earth

"So....What do you want to do?" Skye asked.

The hybrid nodded a hello. "My name is Skye, nice to meet you."

"That was cool! How you did you do that?!" Hailm exclaimed. Cera smiled. Hailm shook her head "Never mind. You guys have such cool powers! I wish I had some." Hailm whimpered. Hailicfer, who was still staring at Griffon, snorted in disbelief. "You do child, you just haven't noticed yet." The Dragon rumbled. "Br, Foku come out of hiding please." Skye said. "Too many people." Hailm shook her head and backed up into Cera. Then she went the other way, bumping into Hailicfer. "I fear this young child has a fear of too many people, Hailicfer." Foku said. "Yes, I must teach her. But she will warm up to you guys and her powers with unleash." Hailicfer lifted Hailm on to her back. Hailm trembled.

"What amazing powers!" Hailm exclaimed. "Fuko, please come out of hidding." Skye says. Then a 12 year old girl popped out. Hailm started to get scared and dizzy, she backed up into Hailicfer. Hailicfer sighed and picked her up. "Hailicfer!" Fuko shook her head in disapointment. "I know, I know. But she'll learn." The Dragon replied.

Hailm froze on her dragon's back. "Much to learn." Skye said. Hailicfer smiled at the compliment. "Thank you, I am Hailicfer. The young one on my back is Hailm."

Hailcifer put her tail up so Cera couldn't see Hailm. "She doesn't have powers yet. Or at least she hasn't discovered them yet."

"Me?" Asked Hailcifer.

"She's from here, a regular human. Me, well I was a shooting star until me and Hailm made a contract to make me live. I have her heart." Hailm snapped out of it. "Stop saying that!"

"I never believe that Dragon! I don't even remember catching a fall star or even making a contract with you!" Hailm stood up with rage.

"Hahaha! Really funny." Said a voice. "No need to be rude Calcifer. It's just how she is." "Howl?" "Hello Hailm."

"Ah!" Hailcifer grew smaller. Hailm fell into a man with black-blue hair, he was wearing a blue-and-silver suit. "You alright?" The man asked, "Yes, Howl." Howl put Hailm down. Then a young man and a flame in his hand appeared. "Hello Calcifer, Micheal."

"Little thing is scared" Calcifer stated. He flickered in Micheal's palm.

"Hello." Micheal lowered Calcifer towards the ground. "Hey Micheal, don't get me wet." Calcifer got set on the ground. Calcifer peered all around. "Hello?"

Calcifer flickered. He blinked.

Howl giggled. Hailm and Howl went under a tree. Calcifer gulped.

Calcifer smiled at the girl, "I'm Calcifer."

Calcifer's flames flickered as he blushed. He stared into her eyes.

"I only can do fire. It's really hot like you- I mean it's just hot."

"Yeah."
Howl held Hailm's hand. "Looks like Calcifer found his love." She said. "And I'm about to kiss mine." Howl pulled her over and kissed her.

Griffon was asleep

"I see that all the time when I'm stuck in the grate and they're doing it in front of me." He rolled his eyes then he kissed Cera.

"I have nobody, no one wants to be my friend. All they want me to do is work." Calcifer started to cry. (I like how you did him, you really caught him, I can picture it x) )

Howl looks over. "Calcifer." he said softly.
Micheal spotted Griffon. He climbed the tree, "Hey, how's it going?"
Calcifer flickered.

"Micheal! Calcifer! Time to go!" Howl called. "Do you have to go?" Hailm asked. Hailicfer landed on her shoulder. Micheal landed on his feet. "But I don't wanna go." Calcifer said softly.

"When ever Master Howl lets me." He hugged her back. Howl scolded him to hurry. "I do need to go, the Castle can't stay there for ever." Howl replied to Hailm's question.

"Bye." He croaked. Calcifer turned back to a flame. Howl picked him up and beakoned Micheal then they left.

"Huh? Um, yeah. Have been for a while." Hailicfer shook her scales.

"What?" She asked.

Skye, at this point, was at her house, sitting on the floor, meditating. It helped her calm down and focus her psychic abilities. She blinked her eyes open quickly, and in doing so, the spoon in front of her bent.

Come on Hailicfer we're leaving.

"Cera..." Calcifer huffed quietly in Howl's hand. "What's wrong with you, my friend?" "Nothing." Calcifer sighed. "It's that girl isn't?" Calcifer froze at the question but soon sighed and nodded. "Hm, you know what? Go right ahead. I shouldn't of done that." "Really?" "Yep." Howl set Calcifer who turned into a flame boy quickly. He hugged Howl and ran off to find Cera. "Ow..." Howl said in pain.
He ran and ran with snow melting under him. "Cera?" He called. "Cera!?"

Calcifer froze. "Cera it's me... Calcifer." He said softly and scared. He couldn't see anyone. His flaming feet melted the snow.

"Yes! I'm back!" He flared up. Turning into a flame. His face went blank. "Dang it..."

"I do that sometimes, I quite hate it." He looked at the thrown down bow. "Whatcha doing?"

Hailm walked glumly home. Hailicfer shook her scales once more. Hailm got annoyed. "What?!" She looked at her dragon. "I got an itch and I can't reach it." Hailm blinked at her dragon and then sighed heavily.

Calcifer looked confused. "Who?" He sighed. "Can't do combat."

To Calcifer she looked like a small field mouse when she shrunk with fear. "Nothing will come, I promise." He said soothingly.

"Please!! It's bugging me!! Hailm Please!" Hailicfer cried. "No." Hailm kept walking.

"To tell you the truth... I get protection from Howl, then he puts me to work. I move the moving castle. But coming to combat I can only protect but I cannot fight. But in all words my magic is useless." He sighed guilty.

(I really am 11, I'm just saying that.)

"No! I'm fine. I-I think it's- I'm alright." He sighed in fustration. Howl watches from afar wgere the two flames can't see him.

"Yes, I'm fine...." He hugged her. He rested his chin on her shoulder. (He's kinda evil XD)
"Calcifer... I'm sorry..." Howl whispers and walks away.

Calcifer blinked and sighed. He heard something, in the distance, like crunching leaves. "Huh?" "What's wrong?" Calcifer turned to flame and started to rush to the sound.

He stopped by someone walking. "Howl?" Howl stopped in his tracks. He looks down at Cera and Calcifer. "Hey Calcifer." He said glumly. "Everything okay?" "No, I'm over working you, you deserve better." "No,no,no,no! I'm alright, fine!" "You may say that but really you're not." Then Howl walked away again.

"No it's not! Cera! Don't believe that! I'll handle with him. Don't you worry." Howl continued to walk.

"I'm gonna fix it, Calcifer." "NO! I'm Fine!!!" He pulled on Howl's pants.

"Stop! I'm alright!" Calcifer kept pulling but Howl kept dragging him as Calcifer was too small. "Look I over heard what you and Cera was saying and I'm going to fix it!" "Ssstttoooppp!" Calcifer pulled.

"Howl!" Calcifer looked at Cera. "I'm sorry..."

Howl felt cold in Calcifer's grip. Howl fell to his knees. "I'm fine alright?" Calcifer let go and turned into a fire-boy and rushed to Cera. Howl, who was laying on the ground, nodded okay.

"Why are you sorry, when I should be sorry." "N-no... I'm sorry..." Howl sat up, he was really stiff.

The boys said nothing as they sat side-by-side each other, facing Cera.

"Howl... I'm sorry." "No, I'm sorry." The boys sat there for a few moments. "Hug?" Howl asked. Calcifer streched his little arms. Howl picked him up and gave him a hug.

"Alright, I need to get to the castle. You settle things with Cera, alright?" Howl said putting down Calcifer. And then standing up. "Bye!" Howl waved good-bye.

"Hey Cera."

"Fine, we um, uh, you know talked."

"Pretty much... uh, um... how we're sorry and all that..." Takes a step back. Cera moved closer. Takes a few more steps back, trips on something "AHHG!" Falls down.

"It's nothing, I promise you."
Howl kicked rocks around. "Hmm..."

"Um, alright." Climbs up and tree and watches Cera.

[Night]

"Whatcha doing?" Calcifer asked, hanging upside down next to Cera.

"What's it say?"
[I got my haircut! :P]

"Yeah..." Starts making marks in the tree with a burning hand.

[Chin? I've got layers]

"Hm? No, just bored. There! I love you" He smiled.

*I, love, you*

Howl sighed in fustration, he relized while back ago he wasn't heading towards the moving castle but towards Hailm.

"Our Love is unbreakable." Calcifer smiled. To Cera it looked like a frown.

"Nothing could be better." He swang up and kissed Cera.

"I'm sure, stop worrying."

Calcifer looked pretty steamed. "Thanks, I can't get wet."

It started to pour and got Howl drenched. "Calcifer!? Calcifer!! CALCIFER!" He howled.

Calcifer layed his head on Cera when he heard his name.

"CALCIFER!!!" The wind and rain grew harsher as Howl looked for his fire-demon friend.

"Yeah." Gets up and walks towards the entrance with a wave of a goodbye. Cera runs up and puts her arms around his neck. "Please don't go!" "I need to."

Calcifer appeared in the stormy night. "Calcifer!" Howl ran and hugged him. Calcifer turned to a flame in Howl's arms. Howl turned and went to the moving castle.

Howl and Calcifer stumbled in. Howl set Calcifer into his grate. Calcifer grew, warming Howl and Micheal.

Calcifer couldn't sleep that night so when the storm stopped, Calcifer got out of the moving castle and ran after Cera.

Cera... don't worry. I'm coming. Calcifer thought. "Cera?" He said peering into the hideout.

"No you're not. I'm right here." Calcifer walks closer towards Cera.

"I know....."

"N-nevermind"

"I'm not. Why would I leave my master just to come to you?"

Calcifer was silent.

Calcifer sighed and slid down the wall. He covered his face with his hands. He sobed.

Tears slid down. Calcifer took his hands back and put them back on his face.

Calcifer still whimpered. "I left... but another thought; I don't want you to go!" Calcifer broke out into more tears.

"Master Howl might k!ll you because I ran away!"

"He k!lls the one that's destracing me!" Tears flooded out of Calcifer.

"I thought it would never happen. And I never had a girl..."

Howl sat up in his bed. He walked down the stairs. He noticed that Calcifer was gone. "Cold breakfast yay!" He said sacactily.(Fail)

Howl took out the bread and cheese. Why he ate it, he wrote a note and directions for Micheal:
Dear Micheal,
I'm going out for a bit. Calcifer isn't here, he's with Cera. Bread and cheese this morning. I'm going to Little Bakery, Big Spell, and Market Town and even the forest. I'll be back at sunset.

Howl walked through the town. He wasn't sure why he wanted here, but he was. He got a muffin, he wasn't hungry but he wolfed it down like he was.

Micheal looked at the note Wizard Howl left him when got downstairs. He shrugged and ate.

Calcifer felt a harsh wind.

Calcifer bent down next to Cera. "Hey, hey. What's wrong?"

Howl headed towards the forest. He finished his last muffin.

"I won't let him close to you!" He promised. He hugged Cera close.
Howl heard, "Why would I ki// you if I knew my Fire Demon loves you?" He asked Cera, he came closer but not to close.

Howl sighed. "It is true that I did that. But, I knew Calcifer ran away. I knew that he wouldn't be staying for long. Your love is strong and powerful to be seperated." Howl replied. "How'd you know!?" Calcifer asked. "It was quite easy Calcifer, and I just said it."

"Hailm... yes. You're welcome." Howl looked at the herizon. "It's sunset. I gotta go, Micheal's waiting for me. Cya you two." He started to walk away.

"Micheal!? I'm back!" Howl called as he bursts through the door. "I'm upstairs! I'll be right down!" Micheal called. Calcifer showed Cera to his grate and they shrunk and got in it with Howl's help.

Calcifer looked at Howl and now Micheal. "What?" Howl asked. "Nothing" He puffed.

Calcifer stayed awake the whole night, while Cera, Howl, and Micheal slept. Early next morning. Calcifer shrunk because his flames died out slowly.

He was very tiny but you could still see him. He brought back bacon. He gave it to Cera and went back to sleep.

Calcifer fell backwards, but he still slept. Howl came down the stairs. "Good Morning!" Cera said good morning. "Calcifer?" "He's sleeping." Cera replied. "Ugh! Calcifer!" "What?" Cera asked. "He stayed up all night. Another cold breakfast." "What?!" Micheal moaned.

Howl picked up Cera set her on the table. "Who fed you?" Howl grabbed a loaf of bread, he started to cut it. Micheal grabbed the cheese and waited.

"Ah." Howl replied. He handed Micheal a piece of bread.

"I uh, met her in..." "The forest." "Thank you, Micheal. So uh, yeah the forest...
[Flashback]
"I'll never get this spell right!" Howl howled. He tried his spell again like all other times, it back fired. But this time he got blown into a tree trunk. You would think he would get splinters from slidding down, but no. A girl rushed over, "Are you okay? I saw what happened!" The girl helped Howl up. He saw books laying on the ground. "Are those your books?" He asked. The girl picked them up. "I go to an Acdemy. I'm almost done. I'm the smartest student there! Oh and the name's Hailm." Howl nodded, "Howl." Hailm and Howl heard so distant shouting. "Hey there you are, girl!" The led boy shouted. "Oh no. Not Josh." "Who?" "My ex-boyfriend. Leave me alone!" But Josh and his friends came right over. His friends pinned Hailm down, then Josh went to Howl. "A new boyfriend already? Geez Hailm." Josh commented. "I said, Leave me alone!" Her voice changed. Howl noticed her hair flamed and changed to green. "Oh no! Okay Hailm! I'm sorry!" Josh said. "Let us go and then run." The group did just that. Hailm changed back to normal. She fainted.
[Flashback end]
"She fainted and I brought her here. Then slowly we were a thing." Howl sighed. "Sorry for telling you the whole story."

"Everything alright Cera?" Howl asked. Micheal sighed. "What now, Micheal?" "You guys have Love and me? I don't have any! I try and try, but no one likes me!" He yelled. Calcifer stirred but quickly fell back asleep. "Now Cera, what's wrong?"

"I hope you're right..." Sighed Micheal. Howl layed a hand out for Cera. Calcifer woke up but didn't tell the others, he peeped out of his grate. Silently watching the others.

Hailm's head hurt. She was in her front yard. Hailcifer was wrapped around Hailm, like she was protecting her. They were both covered in Blood.

"No need to be afraid, Cera." He pulled her to her feet. They walked upstairs to his bedroom door. "Oh no!" Calcifer said and got out of the grate and turned to a fire boy. He ran upstairs. "Master Howl! Don't take her another step!" He yelled at him. Howl stopped. "Smart fire demon you are, Calcifer. I taught ya well." He opened his door. They all heard a twinkling sound. He left go of Cera's hand and dropped to his knees.

"... It's Hailm... She's hurt..." Calcifer replied. "Hailm..." Howl whinned. Calcifer rushed to his side and helped him up.

"You know how I said, I never had a girl? Everytime he lets a girl that I like sleepover, if I sleep in just for a few mintues, the girl's gone! He takes their hearts, their souls! I don't want that to happen, not with you..." Calcifer's grip tightened. "Ow! Calcifer you're burning me!" Calcifer's grip lossened, "Sorry." Calcifer and Howl rushed to the changing door. "Which one?" Calcifer asked. "Purple." Howl replied. Calcifer turned the handle until a blob was set to purple.

Calcifer scooped her up and put her on the railing. "It's not that easy, Cera." Calcifer said. Calcifer pulled open the door. Right in their sight was Hailm and Hailcifer. Blood surrounding them. "Hailm!" Howl called and Calcifer let go of him. He rushed over, moving Hailcifer's wings.

Calcifer went back to Cera. He sighed. "I've known her for quite awhile, it would be bad if Hailcifer... died." Tears rolled down into his firey self. Steam.
Howl dropped to his knees, he held Hailm in his arms. "Hailm..." Hailcifer moaned in pain. Howl set Hailm down. "Hailcifer?" The dragon weakly looked at him. She nodded, Howl sighed in relief.

Hailcifer shrunk. "Calcifer!" Howl howled. He picked up Hailm. Calcifer ran over to Hailcifer. "This is gonna hurt." He said to the Dragon. Hailcifer nodded and the Fire-Demon picked her up. The two carried the injured inside. Calcifer set Hailcifer down. "I gotta uh, see what Cera's up to." He said and backed into the doorway and turnee the blob to green and rushed out the door. "I knew he wouldn't stay for long... I guess their love is too powerful..." Sighed Howl. Then Hailm woke up and kissed Howl.

The tears gave away Cera's postion. He ran towards it. He climbed the tree of the markings and hung upside down from the same branch. "Hey. Hey. No need to cry." He said.

"I know..." He swung and kissed her forehead. "You know what? I hate being upside down but I also I like it." He giggled.

"I know." He fell off again. "Ow... that really hurt that time..." He said rubbing his head.

"I know you do. And yes, I'm fine." He said, resting his head on her shoulder.

"But I don't need to know how much you love me, I just need to know if you love me." He changed to a human boy. A ginger haired boy. He wore blue jeans and a white shirt.

He sighed. "Maybe he's protecting me? Or, I'm just too young...?" He said.

"Howl. Does he think he's protecting me? Or does he think I'm too young?" He repeated.

Calcifer didn't reply. A little after of silence, the two heard a shriek. Calcifer's head jerked up. "That's Hailcifer." He stood up and layed out a hand for Cera.

"Hailcifer! What happened?" Calcifer called. "Howl took Hailm into his room!" "No! Hailcifer, keep Cera!" Calcifer let go of Cera's hand. He ran upstairs and slamed into Howl's bedroom door. "Ow!" It didn't budge. He continued.

"Cera!" He grabbed her by the waist and pulled her away from the door. She tried to fight her way out of his grip. "Cera! Stop!" Howl's door opened. Howl peaked out. "Calicfer!" He snarled. "Ye-yes sir?" "Heal Hailcifer, I got Hailm." Hailm's head poked out. "Back inside." Howl smiled gently. Hailm went back inside the bedroom. Howl followed and closed the door. "Cera, wanna help me heal Hailcifer?"

"Is fine. He won't harm her." Calcifer pulled Cera away from Howl's bedroom door and went back to Hailcifer.

"Yes, but that process with them... Well, let's not go there." They both arrived to Hailcifer. The Dragon stretched out a leg. Carefully, Calcifer set his firey hands on one of the Dragon's wounds. "Nothing to worry about Cera." "A little bit up." Calcifer's heat got a little hotter. Hailcifer relaxed. "That's it." "You're welcome."

"There's nothing to explain, Cera." Calcifer said, working on the other leg of the Dragon. Hailcifer looked at Cera. "Child, everything's okay... I hope." Her ears searched everywhere. But finally stopped and faced a direction, she relax again.

Calcifer moved to her back leg, where Cera stood. "Hailcifer stop tensing or I can't heal these wounds!" He snapped. "I'm sorry, Calcifer. Just worried about my Master..." The blue Dragon replied. "You have her heart, what could possible hurt her?" "Calcifer just because I have her heart, doesn't mean I'm the only way to her heart." "What do you mean?" Calcifer moved to the last leg. "No one knows where the entrance is but me, her, and... Howl." Hailcifer tensed again. "STOP!" Calcifer ordered. "I'm sorry, once again..." The Dragon relaxed. Calcifer restarted his proccess on her final leg. He sighed in fustration. He was stressed.

"It's diffcult, Cera." He told her. Soon he was done with her legs. He dicided to take a break. "Thanks for letting me take a break, Hailcifer. Howl would never let me." Calcifer said and layed in the grass. The Dragon nodded. "The pleasure's mine." Calcifer changed to his Red-head self. His hands burnt. He closed his eyes and rested.

Calcifer's human eyes opened. He looked over at Cera. "Cera..." He said aloud.

He waved his hand to come.

"To keep me company." He looked at Cera with his blue eyes.

[Night]

His Red head hair looked Golden in the sunlight. Calcifer looked at his hands. Burnt. He hid them from Cera.

Hailcifer's tail pulled Calcifer closer to her. "Yes Hailcifer?" She handed him some bandages. She put her wings around him, so Cera couldn't see. Calcifer wrapped his hands. He was set back down next to Cera. He hid his hands again.

Calcifer was silent. "She loves you dearly, Calcifer. Don't worry, she would never leave you." Hailcifer said, pulling Calcifer near her again. He rested his head on the back of her neck.

Hailcifer set Calcifer on the ground near her. She ducked her head and her wings covered them. Calcifer shook his hair. "Hey." "Sorry." They heard a big crash outside. "Big storm tonight. The wind's whipping against my body. And there's no way we're getting inside, plus I can't shirnk while healing so I'm gonna stay my full grown self." Calcifer simply nodded.

Calcifer started to fall asleep from the Dragon's heat. Hailcifer kissed his head. "Children... This Child's speical..."

It was morning, it was slightly raining. Hailcifer awoke, she looked at the red-haired boy. She opened her wings. "OW!" Calcifer woke up in pain. "Just because I'm a boy doesn't mean that water doesn't hurt me!" He yowled. Hailcifer's wings covered him. "Sorry, I didn't know."

Calcifer worried about Cera. "I need to go inside." He stood up. Hailcifer's wings expanded towards the castle. He walked under the wings of the Dragon and opened the door. "Morning Calcifer." Howl said. "Morning..." He mumbled. "Calcifer!" Hailm yelled. "Hm?" He looked in the direction of Hailm. "Is Halicfer healed?" "No. I'm half way done." He said honestly.

"What?!" Howl howled. He pinned Calcifer against the wall. "Calcifer!" Hailcifer shreiked. "Let go of me, Howl!" "No! We needed Hailcifer! Now we can't go!" "Howl you're drunk! Now let the child go!" Hailcifer shreiked.

"Cera!" He hugged her back. Howl recovered and Hailm helped him up. Hailcifer's tail came in, blocking Howl's path.

"Cera! No!" Calcifer croaked. "No! I should've done this before, I should've done this once you set eyes on her!" Howl dragged Cera up the stairs. "CERA!" Calcifer yelled, he ran after them but Hailm held him by the waist. "CERA! Let go off her, you beast!" Calcifer yelled.

"CERA!" Then he felt Hailm's grip lossen. He turned around, Hailcifer had her master in her grasp. "Go Calcifer!" Hailcifer hissed. "Right." Calcifer ran upstairs to the closed bedroom door. He threw himself against it. It budge. "OPEN UP!" He yelled.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!!!" He continued slaming himself against the door. "Calcifer!" Hailm said behind him. "What is it, Hailm?" Hailm handed him a key. "Why didn't you give this to me sooner?" Before Hailm could answer, Calcifer put the key in the lock.

Calcifer opened the door. "Too late, my Fire Demon. Since she's your's, I'll share the prize!" Howl snarled. "NO! Why?! Why do you get girls and I can't?!" Tears ran down. Howl walked over and cleared the human's tears. "Calcifer... I'm protecting you. I don't want your heart broken." "But you break it!" Calcifer pushed himself into Howl's arms. He cried. Howl held him. "Calcifer, it would be the one who loved you or me? Her breaking your heart is worse than me." Howl cleared more of the demon's tears. "Now don't cry." Calcifer sniffled. "My son, I'm just protecting you." Howl held him closer. "I do know now, just why her?!" He cried more.

"I'm sorry. Look, we still needed Hailcifer." "I know, I'm sorry." Calcifer picked up Cera. "Hailcifer!" Howl called as they emrged out of the castle. "Yes?" She asked. "How far is Meadow Falls?" "Not too far. We can get there in 5 minutes by flying." "How far by walking?" "A day. Healing takes forever. So we need to walk if we're going to Meadow Falls." "Yeah." "Hop on." Hailcifer's tail came out, they all went on to it, towards her back. She started to walk as soon as they sat down.

Calcifer shook Cera. "Cera?" "What's the matter with her?" Hailm asked. "I dunno, she started to talk and twitch." He replied. Howl shrugged. "So what's Meadow Falls?" Hailm asked. "It's a place where people get revived, not dead people but people like Cera." Hailcifer replied. "Oh... Howl, if you caused it, why are we going there?" "To help Calcifer." He lied. "Hailm, take Cera." Calcifer handed Cera to her. "Careful Calcifer. Here start on this wing." Hailcifer lifted her right wing. Calcifer changed into a fire boy and started to heal the dragon.

Hailm's eyes widen at Cera's story. Cera showed her the white cloth. "Your right, I would never turn my back on Howl." "Hm?" Calcifer turned his head. "Cera!" Calcifer jumped away from Hailcifer's left wing. He hugged Cera.

Howl showed the purple orb. "It's smaller. I let you have your powers of not to be burned."

Calcifer looked at Cera. "Don't worry, we're almost at Meadow Falls."

Calcifer looked at Cera, taken a back. "Cera! No you don't. Tell me when you used them stupidly."

[Dunno, Christan?]

"That was all useful, you we're protecting me."

His eyes widen as well. He kissed her forehead and as well, closed her hand with the cloth in it.

Calcifer hugged her.

It was night time. Cera was lean back in Calcifer's lap, they were looking at the stars. Hailm fell asleep next to Howl.

Calcifer kissed her forehead.

Calcifer stood up. "What the heck?! Hailcifer stop!" "Right." She stopped. Calcifer jumped down and rushed to Cera's side. "You alright?"

[Hailcifer was the one giving everyone a ride]

"Stupid girl. Hailcifer move on." "No!" The Dragon rejected.

Calcifer helped her up. They quickly got on the Dragon's tail. They stayed on it. Hailcifer walked again.

"I know he does..." He growled slightly.

[Wut?]

"What do you mean? I love you with all my heart. With all my flames."

"Howl's my master. As well as my creator, so he's like my... father?"

Calcifer sighed in anger. "I hate him as well."

"Well sometimes, but right now I hate him." Hand in flames. Quickly gets put out. "Ow..." He whispered. The wrapping on that hand got burnt off.

"Uh, nothing." He hid his unwrapped hand.

Calcifer was silent.

"Meadow Falls." He replied simply.

[Need sleep, night]

"I'm going to the tail." Calcifer walked to Hailcifer's tail. He layed down and looked at his unwrapped hand.

Calcifer made his hand go into flames again. But once again, it got put out. "Stop hurting yourself, Child." Hailcifer told Calcifer. He didn't reply. He hid his unwrapped hand in his pants pocket. He sighed.

Calcifer sat up. "Uh, uh, no! Why would I do that?!" Hailcifer's tail lifted up and swung it where it was even with her body. Calcifer had to hold on with both of his hands. He was eye level with Cera. A big gap was in front of them. Big enough only Howl could jump it.

"Cera!" Calcifer stood up. "You won't jump that. Even if you did, what would you do? You seen it! Look at your hands! Look at them!" Growled Howl. Calcifer looked at his unwrapped hand, then took the wrapping off of his other hand. Both burnt. "Let go of her, Howl!" Hailm yelled behind him. "Hailm, stay out of this!" Howl hissed.

Hailm took a hold of Howl, which made Howl let go. "I said, Let her go!" Cera kept gasping for air. "Hailcifer give me a push." Hailcifer nodded and swung her tail at the same time, Calcifer jumped. He landed on the Dragon's back. "Cera." Howl got out of Hailm's grip and grabbed Calcifer. "NO!" Calcifer screamed. He struggled. "Say good-bye." Howl snarled. "NO!" Calcifer repeated but slowly grew smaller and passed out.

He coughed. He moaned in pain. He didn't speak. He was just a flame.

"Hailcifer, we need them!" Hailm told her, climbing up on to her head. "I know. But I have no idea where they went."

He shook his head no. His little arms stretched out for a hug.

Calcifer wanted to say, I love you and thank you for saving me. But his powers are gone and him only a flame, he couldn't speak.

He only nodded. He turned and fell asleep in the corner of the couch. He looked like a fire ball.

Calcifer awoke to a clash of thunder. "Another storm?" He thought, looking in the direction of the entrance.

Calcifer looked at the now awake Cera and shook his head. He jumped off the couch, lucky that he didn't hurt himself, he started to walk around in search of something to do to pass time. The hidden den was huge when you are tiny. To walk 3 feet it took at least 5 minutes. It was fustrating just to get to the bookshelf. Then he faced another problem: How in the world is he gonna get a heavy book that's 2x his size and it's 5 feet in the air? He sighed in fustration and sadness.

'Love this book!' Calcifer thought as he flipped the page. He looked over at Cera's hand but quickly went back to reading.

Calcifer looked at the cloth amazed. Then grew back to his normal size, he coughed. "Ow..." He groaned leaning back on the couch, clutching his head.

"Yeah..." Calcifer replied. He looked at his hands. 'Still burnt...' He thought. He sighed.

"I'm fine. Nothing to worry about." Calcifer smiled. He stood up, getting used to walking tall again. Calcifer got a drink of water, a little surprised he didn't steamed. It worried him even more though.

"Maybe Howl was right. I mean, he is right... I'm getting weaker each minute." Calcifer mumbled under his breath. Calcifer sighed and put his elbows on the counter and put his face in his burnt hands. He gently rubbed his eyes.

"Fine... Fine. Everything's fine." Calcifer replied. He yawned a bit before falling to the floor with a loud thu,mp.

"Get away from him!" A voice hissed. Then a snake came emgerging in. "I ssssaid, get away from him!" The snake hissed again as it slithered towards Calcifer.

The snake wrapped around Calcifer. It hissed some sayings into his ear.

The snake's trained onto Cera. The snake flicked it's tounge out. Then Calcifer's eyes fluttered open. "I would like to move Lokey." Lokey removed herself from Calcifer.

"Ia ustma eba ovingma." (I must be moving.) Calcifer nodded and Lokey exited the fortress.

(Fortress xD I forgot what it was called.)

"A friend of mine."

"Pi,g latin. I can't really explain it."

"Oh, don't worry about it."

"Okeyla!" (Lokey!) Calcifer yelled.

Lokey rushed in. She hissed. "Cera! Something happened!"

Lokey and Calcifer froze in place not knowing what to do.

Calcifer wobbly stood up and ran to Cera's side with Lokey following.

Calcifer fell backwards. Lokey slithered to his side.

Calcifer nodded slowly. Lokey's tail wrapped around his wrist and tugged. Calcifer looked over at her and mouthed 'What?' Lokey let go and started to slither to the kitchen. Calcifer stood up and followed. "If you want to stay alive, drink and eat hot things." Lokey snapped as Calcifer caught up. Lokey was on the counter. "Okay," he replied. "I swear, Howl is taking your life." Lokey muttered as Calcifer made hot coco. Calcifer looked down at the mircowave. "That's because he is..." He whispered. Lokey nodded. "What does he want with you?" Calcifer jumped onto the counter with a mug of hot coco beside him. "Power. What I heard is that I'm the strongest demon he's come acrossed. Ya'know, I used to be a regular human but I got transformed into a cat by some witch. But then Howl came along and made me a fire demon."

(Hideout)

Calcifer sighed and looked at his warm mug. He lifted it up to his almost cold lips and took a huge mouthful of hot coco.

Calcifer almost dropped his mug. "I don't but Calcciffer does." Lokey hissed. "Yeah, I know her. In fact, she's my uh, girlfriend."

"Calcifer," he replied with a light shade of pink covering his cheeks. Lokey scoffed.

"None right now. Drink Calcifer." Lokey cut in. Calcifer grumbled and lifted his hot mug to his icy lips. He chugged the beverage. He set the mug down and stared at his hands. "I have a feeling when I get my powers back I'm gonna have scars on my hands." Calcifer muttered. Lokey hissed. "Well of course." She snapped.

Calcifer's hands balled into fists and he glares at the girl. "I'm sorry that I'm not your warrior that you believed I was. Even if I did know my powers it wouldn't be so supieror." Calcifer's fists lit on fire as he snapped at the girl. "I'm going through alot right now. I'm really weak right now due to my master's greed. The reason why I didn't help her is because I couldn't!" Calcifer jumped down from the counter, tears threating to fall but he kept eye contact. "In my head I was thinking 'I wish I could help her but I don't know how.'" Soon his eyes glowed firey red. "Sometimes you just have to deal with the pain. Just like me." He growled the last 2 sentences. His eyes and hands turned back to normal. But he still stared at the girl. A tear made it's way down his cheek then to his chin and then finally to the floor.

Calcifer tensed down a bit. "Yeah... She uh, told me a small bit of her past a little over awhile ago." Calcifer said. "But at least she has a past." He growled and turned into a fire boy and stormed into the livingroom. He kicked the wall, making it spark a little. He started to punch the wall. "I must be going. Calcifer, past, present, future." Lokey said and exited the hideout. "Past, present, future." Calcifer mumbled back as he punched the wall harder.

"What did you say?" Calcifer asked Carma, not knowing she wasn't there.

Calcifer flinched. "Ow! Let go!" He yelped and twisted his way out of Cera's grasp. Calcifer turned back to human and he layed on the ground, propped up by his elbows. He was whimpering and his eyes were shut. Red handprints was marked on Calcifer's skinny biceps.

Calcifer didn't answer. The red handprints were burn marks. A few tears slid down his pale cheeks.

Calcifer's eyes shot open. "Please don't cry Cera! I'm just a bit weak right now to handle anything." Cera looked up at Calcifer and pressed her warm lips against Calcifer's icy ones.

Calcifer sighed in relief slightly. "Th-than-anks." He struttered. Calcifer was shivering. His lips turned purple.

Even with the warmth of Cera's fire, Calcifer's lips turned back to normal but were still icy cold. "I'm about to burn." He warned.

Calcifer smiled slightly. He stood up in slight pain but didn't show it. The red handprints visable for all to see. Calcifer walked to the bathroom. After he came out both of his biceps were wrapped.

Calcifer gave a smile. "I'm fine."

Calcifer gave a quick, stiff stretch and then layed in the couch. After a few moments, Calcifer fell asleep. His lips growing colder as deep slumber took over.

A shadowy figure darted to a tree as it watched Cera with great curiousity. "That fool is dating Calci?" It spoke low. It scoffed.

It flipped off the branch and landed perfectly on it's feet. It resembled a boy. The boy had black hair. His lips small and thin, and his nose slender like. His clothes were completely black and he had no socks or shoes. His skin was really pale. The boy opened his eyes to reveal icy blue eyes.

The boy raised his hands up slowly in surrender. "I mean no harm, young one." The boy piped. "I am Kaden. Friends with Calcifer and Lokey." The boy took a slight bow.

Kaden put his arms behind his back and straightened. Silence filled the air before Lokey came slithering. Lokey stared at Kaden but Kaden didn't know she was there, so he stared at Cera. "Kaden?" Lokey said slowly. Kaden's head looked down at Lokey, his icy blue eyes widening. "Lokey," Lokey slithered up the boy and then finally rested around Kaden's neck. "I've missed you so much! I bet Calcifer would like to see you alive." Lokey hissed. Kaden laughed, giving a bright smile. "Worries much doesn't he? He shall not worry, really I was done with my adventure awhile ago. I followed him but never had the time to show. But then I ran into trouble. But I made my way here to find..... her." Kaden took a quick glare at Cera but gave a happy gaze at Lokey. "Well, I'm glad you're safe. Oh, by the way that's Cera. Calcifer's dating her." Lokey said. Kaden's face dropped slightly. "Stop worrying about your brother, let's go see him. That's if, you'll allow us to enter Cera." Lokey hissed.

Kaden shrugs and enters the hideout. Lokey slids off his shoulders and looks around as Kaden sits on his knees by Calcifer. He smiles as he watched his brother.

Calcifer jerked awake from the sudden outburst, making Kaden fall to the floor. He propped himself with his elbows. Calcifer looked at Carma. "What do you mean, she's going into the enemy's village?" He demanded taking no notice of the others but only on Carma.

"Carma!" Calcifer rolled off the couch. He stood up and started to run after her until he tripped over Kaden. Calcifer looked at Kaden in disbelief before standing up and actually running after Carma.

Calcifer was out of breath once he reached the walls. "Carma?!" He dared to call once he regained his breath.

Calcifer nodded. "Let me help."

Calcifer looked at Carma in disbelief. Anger boiling inside of him. "I'm helping and I don't care what you say! Back at the hideout, I turned into a fireboy, right?"
Carma nods.
"I wasn't suppose to do that. I may be weak but with enough anger it is possible." He growled.

Calcifer ran after Carma. His small figure perfectly slipping through the gap in the wall. Calcifer remember when he tripped over his brother. 'If only Kaden was in place. He's darkness, he could easily get through the shadows without getting seen or heard.' Calcifer thought as he followed Carma in the shadows.
