Watch my cloud tutorial for cloud tips... grass far away is a dark, solid base, lighter highlight color in an X and W pattern...up close, same technique only 3 shades od the grass color: Highlights: Mid-tones: Lowlights...

When u watch my replays look for the colored dots.... than vary the opacity from full, to half, to quarter... and the horizon is ALWAYS brighter than the top of the sky towards space...

Objects that are further away are smaller than ones up close, and color is more saturated the closer it is to the eye...use the layers to ur advantage...all the way left [ver far away] the layer on the right [closest to you], the middle is the middle....
