When everything went to hell Hesper and I were shopping for our camping trip when we saw a man being brutally eaten, Hesper quickly led us home but she knew a shortcut when suddenly a man with his jaw gone came running at us. You can imagine the outcome.
After that our neighborhood was too dangerous so we hid in a neighbor's abandoned cellar and waited till everything died down. Two days later we hear of a rescue base in the next county.
