Ray Manzarek, the organist from the Doors, died this week. Since his music partly inspired me to play piano as a kid - and I just drew a few rock logos - I thought I'd do a tribute. I referenced a sticker (and kind of messed up the lettering), but a retro look demands a retro cartoon style for his face, so I'm aware it looks like he hopped straight out of Scooby-Doo. >_< I actually made the face on a separate screen and traced it onto this one to make sure it'd fit. #ClassicRock
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Visitor, you can upload one screen to the other by hitting the camera icon at the bottom of the screen. In this case I just brought up my freehand drawing on Colors from another file and put it here. I sometimes figure drawing something on a separate screen can help me position it better in the final one. Thanks, everyone. : )

Very awesomely done! Love how you did it and he does sorta look like Fred Jones! I knew it was only a matter of time but its still so very sad when you hear a member of one of your favorite bands pass! ^_^
