i know the storie behind her *laughes creeply
she was a regular GREEK woman,but she had a talent with weaving and making tasperys.she tought she was better than athena who had invented it.thay had a contest her and athena.she was actuly better but the judges didn't want to anger athena and be vaporized so when athena won as punishment and to teach her not to let her ego cloud her desishions she turned her into a spider.
