(Yes they can switch,) Claude slipped through the streets barely noticed by the civilians. He was exhausted. Amity had been chasing him for weeks, (Yes Claude and Amity know each other, they are naturally enemies.) "Damn it Amity!" He muttered as he stumbled, barely grasping his jar. He let out a slur of curses before barging into the nearest hotel and slamming the money on the key, "Any empty room you have please." He said leaning heavily on the counter. The women looked up suspiciously and handed Claude the keys. "Room 9 in the left corridor." She said pointing towards the hallway. Claude agknowledged her with a slight nod and dragged himself through the lobby, where many eyes watched him anxiously. Although they could not see his monster like features, they could see how torn his jacket was and the weary expression on his handsome face. Her jiggled the keys in the lock and walked into the room, closing the door with a slam, and collapsing into his bed, allowing himself to transition into his monster form, scratches adorned his skin along with bruises and sweat. He was completely drained. At least Amity hadn't found him yet...

so cool like the ice

Nine inched forward, light barely penet.trating the alleyway. Her armore was folded neatly in afew discarded rags and her gun was also hidden with the dir.ty cloths. The young fourteen-year-old had been hiding four three weaks. Her only nourishment were scraps of old food found in dumpsters and unclean water from drainpipes. Nine's ear's layed flat on her head, her brow furroing and snarl of nervouse frustration creasing her normaly empathetic face. She tugged at one of her bandages, tighting the bloody cloth around her scar. " Five, four," she started, counting down. " three, two, one. Launch! " The teen dashed across the street, car horns blarring at her in complaint. The girl dashed through the hotel doors, placed the green paper normal people called " dollars " on the counter, and sna.tched a door key from the employie whom looked at her with curiosity, worry, and disaproval, but not at her tail, claws, or ears, which remained hidden to all but afew eyes. Nine launched herself up the staircase, barely looking at the room number, and tried placing her key in the door's nob, expecting it to open. " Locked out of my own room! ," the teen whispered, snarling. " How convinient! " She pouned her gloved fist against the door, adjusting her bundle made up of armore, her utility belt and gun. Some mufled noise greeted her keen wolf ears, but there was nothing but silence besides that. " Hey! Open up! "

Claude heard a pounding on the door of his room, he sighed a rolled over, "Go away!" He groaned, putting a pillow over his head. Good thing he had locked the door, if someone walked in on him right now. "Better shift just in case." He muttered. Slowly he tried, but felt terrible pain upon doing so. "Gahhh!" He screamed accidentally. He gritted his teeth tried to hold back shouts of pain. Finally he was back in human form, but it felt horrible, in fact he felt down right nauseous. More knocking. "I told you to leave me alone!" He groaned again, his eyes closed.

Felm tapped his hooves excitedly on the bus floor. The track team which consisted of five people... ('hey it's a small school in the middle of no where what did you expect?') ...were going on a feil trip to another small town... ('also in the middle of no where') ...to compet in the long run... ('there are of course other activeties, I'm just to excited to compet in the long run to list the others') ...and first place gets a gold metal!... ('well a peice of metal painted to look like gold, gold isn't exsactally in the schools' buget... come to think of it takeing a bus 300 miles across open plains while only careing seven track members 'including coaches' isn't exacallty in the schools' buget either... oh well works for me cause I'm gonna win!... don't judge me!') The bus turned into a small hotal which everyone would be staying at for the night before the big games! The brakes screached as the bus lurched to a stop, and I was up and at the doors in seconds! The lead Coach payed for our rooms and gave us our keys! Taking my key I spun it round my finger a few times while walking snoodly towards my room, number eleven. I opened the door and went in. Jumping onto the bed i fell fast asleep... but the was a giggle at my door and then some banging. I got and said Just a minute as I walked to open the door. I opened it to find some weird girl standing at the mouth of it. "Who?"- I started

Opps sorry raven was writening when you were, so Felm just stays in bed till there's some banging at the other door, which he gets up to investigate. Looking from his door to the door across were a girl was banging on the door. Felm hissed "Shhhh!" And goes back in his room

Nine gritted her fangs and tapped the floor with one foot, her fluffy tail wagging back and forth in a mixture of frustration, nervousness, and anger. There was no time for " Shhh! "! There was only time to hide, to evade, to plan, to escape! " Oh yes! ," the teen muttered, her bright blue eyes gleaming in the fospherescent light. " I'll just waltz away while I'm being chased! That will do me so much more good! " Nine shook her head and glanced down at her key, the numbers faded. She slapped herself. " Aren't I just so clever! " The wolf-girl shuffled quietly to another room down the hall way. She unlocked the door quickly and smoothly, then hopped into her room, slamming the door behind her. The teen locked it and through her asortment of war-time items onto the bed. Nine ran to the windows and peared out, susp.iciouse of everything. She shut the curtains titly and scurried to her lugage. Nine unwraped her armore, utility belt and gun as if they were priceless artifacts. She checked her black hand gun, making sure that the safety was on, then stared to adorn her scratched silver armour, dried blood maring its smooth surface. The girl ujusted her blue eye patch, putting it in its rightful place, then clasped the belt loosly around her waist, the smoke bombs, knifes, and other assortment of survival and battle gear still attached. The wolf-girl, taking a deep breath, picked up her gun. She turned the safety off. Nine dropped yo her knees and inspected the underside of the bed. Nothing leathle, hopefuly. She slid under and rolled onto her belly, afew of her scars starting to bleed oncemore and the tubes in her sides stretching with her body. Nine's eye gazed out from under the bedframing, taking one last look into the darkness before assuring her that the night would be a safe one . . . probably. The teen took in a shakey, nervouse breath before sleep overtook her.

( Sorry ^^'! This will go just before she looks at her key ) Then Nine heard footsteps, she whirled her head around. Her good eye widened. It was somesort of dragon girl, like herself, unable to be seen for what she really was. The girl, obviously irritated from the yelling, gave Nine directions, somehow sympathetic. She looked at the stranger, then nodded her thanks. " That wasn't unexpected ," the teen thought to herself sarcasticly, a slight smile on her face.

Claude soon fell unconscious, unable to stay awake and alert any longer. He shifted involuntarily into his demon form, he was too weak to control it. (If somebody wants they can walk in on him, otherwise he will just wake up in the morning.)

Felm woke again when he heard painful moans coming from outside his room. He got up opened his door and walked to the door were the moans where coming from. He gently knocked on the door asking "Hey you okay in there?" he waited a few minutes thinking either someone's hurt in there or Felm shook his head muttering "Felm you pe.rve." Another moan came from the door, and Felm went in. "Hey you okay!?!" Felm paused for a moment seeing that the person was a demon, then he noticed the scratches all over him. Felm pulled out his phone and started to dig he lot nine one one, but wait won't they be able to sew him. .. no they can't see me so they shouldn't be able to see him, but Felm stood there for a moment not knowing what to do. Then the adrenalen started kicking in he rushed back to his room and grabbed some athletic bandages and rushed back to the demons room. He paused above his bed with the bandages in hand. He started to panic. "Oh what do I do what do I do I can't just ugly err."

Ugly is supposed to be uh I don't know how it came out spelled like that sorry for the confusion

Nine's eye snapped open, her body tense and ear's perked. " Moans ," she wondered. " Oh, no, Nine! I'm sure its just fairy dust! " She frowned and sniffed the air, the tiniest scent of blood in the air, The teen rolled imidiately out from under the wooden framing, gun in hand, and jumped to her feet. Maybe she shouldn't get involved? Maybe it was a trap, like last time? Maybe the scientists were here? Maybe, maybe, maybe . . . The wolf-girl's ear's went back, trying to decide what her next move would be. Gradualy, Nine stood up and, barely breathing, unlocked her door and stepped carefully out into the hallway. The girl held her firearm tightly as she inched toward the open door, muttering coming from the darkend room. She stopped, smelling the air. The smell was familiar, but belonged to nothing that she had taken of note. Sudeenly, Nine jumped infront of the dark room and hopped in, pointing her gun at someone's head. " Oh ," she said, lowering the rifle slightly. " Its you, that satar boy from before. But . . . " She trailed off, staring at a mass of gray and blue fur, curled around a jar of hearts. It was one of them, but in demon form. She looked at him with a certain kind of fearful curiosity. The teen glanced down at the boy, taking special notice of the bandages that he held awkwardly in his unsure hands. Nine, looking very indifferent, knelt beside him and grabbed the bandages. The teen opened his mouth as if to say something. " Do you want help or not?! "

Aw shucks! I barely missed it. ;-; Man... I was looking forward to it. -.- Oh well.

(Lol if Felm called 911 xD The humans would see Claude as a wolf if he is in full demon form) Claude's body clenched as more pain went through him, although he was unconscious, in his dreams he was fighting, once in while in real life his tail would lash threateningly and then curl more tightly around the jar. Making it difficult to get near him. Normally he would be so weak, but being on the run had made it almost impossible to sleep, eat, or even drink. He knew why Amity wanted him gone, but what was a few broken hearts? Most of the time the couples would never have worked out anyways, he was doing them a favor. It wasn't like it was easy for him. But it was his nature, and this jar....it was his lifeline. No one could take it...They wouldn't dare! Right?

(gosh I made so many spelling errors in my last one, like sew instead of see and I put dig in instead of dignal nine one one good gravel what's wrong with me today. Lol touch screans are so annoying XD) Felm just looked at the cat girl as she took his bandages and began to work on the demon. She asked "Do you want help or not!?" At first it didn't register to Felms' brain "I heard moaning and I found him like this then I think I called nine one one... *looks down at his phone* ...but I didn't then I get I mean I got my bandages err I think those are mine..." The cat girl... or wolf girl what ever she is gave him a flat stare as too say "What have you been smo.king?" Felms' mind was going every which way he couldn't think clearly couldn't see clearly what's wrong with me. Felm could do nothing but stare, that was when his eye caute the jar of hearts. Felm felt wozy "I'm going to wake up now." Felm coapsed to the ground making a loud thumping noise as he hit the ground unconsious!

Claude felt an emptiness....but why, he curled his tail more tightly around the.....wait....why the hell was there nothing there! His eyes snapped open, glowing as he raised his head frantically glancing around, Around him were four shifters, what was going on?? He shivered as he felt someone touching the jar, it was like a pain on his chest. He growled, beginning to stand up, trying to look strong. He cringed slightly, but still was looking around. Without a word his eyes finally focused on Erin, who was cradling the jar. Claude began to snarl, as he slid off the bed, and moving in an almost reptilian manner. He wrapped his own body around his. "I believe you have something of mine," He said coldly, his voice sounding...very smooth and handsome.(Think cute 17 year old)

(Raven think cute 17 year old lol XD) Felm woke after the first few smacks. "Whu?! *sits up* Who's wow..." Felms' eyes widened when they caute the dragon lady... who was still in a tanktop... Felm shook his head "Felm you per.ve." he muttered to himself. Then he looked up at dragon girls' eyes which where glowering at him angraly. "What?!? You know a guy wouldn't be tempted to look there if you wore something more covering!... don't judge me." Felm said folding his arms and looking to the side all poutty like, but when he turned his head it caute the jar in her hand. "Isn't that the-" the demon moved (So did he curl around Ern or around himself?) curling around the dragon girl saying "I believe you have something of mine." all smothly. Felm shivered and brushed his leg hair back down which had been standing on end from the creepyness of it all. "Okay... so you look 'okay'... so I'll just *stands up slowly* be in my room-" Felm tried to walk out but the wolf girl grabbed the calor of his shirt and pulled him right down on his bum! "Ow! You know that hurts the tail bone!" he said glowering at the girl.

A shiver ran down Nine's spine as he coiled around the dragon girl, but her attention was diverted when the fawn boy tried to back out. " Buck up ," she said and through him back down, keeping her eye on the crearure. Maybe it was time to back out? Who knew what this creature would do for his jar of hearts? The teen straightend her back slightly and tossed the hand gun over to the other guy whom fumbled with the firearm clumsily. Nine then lunged at the ( I forgot what they are called ) and tried to pry his furry blue body of the dragon girl. His jaws snapped at her hands as if to bite them off. She quickly minuvered her free hand around his maw and closed down, just barely closing the snapping jaws shut. " Hey! ," the wolf girl said through clenched jaws as he swung his head back and forth rapidly. " Give him the hearts! "

Claude let out a snarl and thrashed around releasing Erin for a moment. "How dare you!" He growled, not entirely sure that they could understand him. He shut his eyes for a moment and then opened them, revealing that they glowed an icy blue. Slowly, ice began to creep up Nine's arms as Claude used a small bit of power against her.

Nine let out a gasp. Ice creeped up her arm like some kind of cold spider and numbed her skin. " What the he.ll are you doing?! ," she screamed at the dragon girl as she gave them her farewell. " Oh, sure! Just LEAVE the person whom tied to save your tail while ICE IS CREEPING UP HER ARM! Such a nice way to say thanks! " The teen smashed her arm against the wall, trying to sha.tter the enchanted liquid, but to avail. She moved toward the satre and sna.tched the gun from his hands and fired a single shot past the dragon girl's head as the ice crawled over her elbow. " Give . . . him . . . back . . . those . . . hearts! " ( as you can see, she's become alot more desperate and daring then before )

Felm jumped not expecting the wolf girl to grab the gun and shot out like that. "Wow wow wow! Okay You *jumps up and yonks the jar from the dragon girls' tail* Can go back to your room and put some cloths on, and you *without turning around Felm kicks his leg back knocking the gun out of the wolf girls' hand, then turns to finish* What the hell do you think your doing shooting in a hotel?" The wolf girl stood there momentarlly confused at Felms sudden speed. "I'm a Satyre (I think that's gow you spell it) for beans sakes. Now! *Turn to the white haired boy* here's your heart thingies *gives him the jar* now you can remove that ice spell you just put on big bad wolf over there." Felm sighs looking exsausted and then takes in a big breath saying "Everyone happy now?"

Nine looked at him for a long while, calming down slightly. She then turned slowly and picked up her gun, looking it over, all the while the ice making its slow, creeping way up her limb. " Yes ," she said sarcasticly to the satyre, trying to clench her frozen fist unsuccesfuly. The teen glanced at the newcomer whom sat in the doorway, curiosity in his bright eyes. She then looked back at the disturbed teen whom tighten his grip upon the jar like a protective mother would her child. " He better ," Nine thought, ice crawling onto her shoulder, freezing the blood that dripped from one of her scars, making it sting. " But her probably won't. "

The dragon girl let out a burst of rage and ran past Nine, one of her wings clipping her face, slashing it. The teen fell onto her back as the shifter jumped out of the window and flew into the air, leaving the grop behind in confusion. The fourteen-year-old growled as blood dripped down her cheeck and onto her gleaming armore. She struggled to her feet, her sensitive ears ringing. " People ," the girl muttered as she reloaded her gun. " Their're almost as bad as the scientists. "

Claude growled at Erin as she she leaped out the window. She was holding one of the most important hearts...He slowly shifted into human form, slumping against a wall and flicked his fingers once and watched blankly as the ice dissolved form Nine's arm. "There, the ice is gone," he said as he clutched the jar in his shaking hands. Claude dragged himself over to where his bookbag was and placed the jar in it wrapped in a bundle of clothes (to protect it). Then he hauled the bag up on his shoulders. (This is the first time you guys would have seen his human form.) "I need to find that arrogant female." He said, anger creeping in his voice. "Thank you for attempting help me. But I'll be fine." Claude turned to walk out the door.

Then he heard a thud, he turned to see that Nine had leaped out of the window and was chasing after the selfish she-devil. Claude exchanged a glance with the satyr and leaped out of the window, landing perfectly on his feet.

"Are you alright?" He said extending a hand to Nine. (sorry for the triple post)

Nine looked at his hand for a moment then took it. She took a breath and looked at him up and down. He was about seventeen. His hair was white and his eye's glowed an icy blue. The shifter was very hansome. " Thanks ," the teen said and looked around, making sure that the alley had no unwanted guests. She sniffed the air. There. Above the fifth cloud on the right. " The dragon girl is there ," Nine said to the strange shifter, pointing with her gun. " Would you happen to have a pair of wings on you? "

Felm stood alone in the room for awhile then shrugged saying "Why not." Then jumped out the window landing next to the wolf girl.

Claude looked up at the cloud and shook his head. "Unfortunately I do not." He said glancing at Nine. "But I need that heart...And if she keeps it, the curse will kick in and....she will die."

"Curse !?!" Felm looked at the white haired boy then sighed when he saw he wasn't joking. "Oh leave it to the goat to fix things. " Flem jumped /climbed back into the hotel. He returned ... with a soccor ball. "Watch and learn, how old billy goat does it. " Felm calmly lifted the ball aimed and kickedtit right into the dragon girl's face.

Nine facepalmed herself. " Oh, Curses now? What a great night. Maybe next there will be an earth quake or perhaps the buildings will catch on fire. Okay. So how-. " Suddenly the satyr kicked a soccer ball into the air, smacking her right in the face. The teen looked on in disbelief, but looked quite indifferent. The shifter dropped the heart suddenly. The glowing thing plumetted through the clouds, its fragile edges gleaming with moonlight. Nine stepped to everywhich side, trying to make sure that she could catch the heart succesfuly. Finaly, the teen jumped and sna.tched the heart from being sha.ttered. The girl gave a sigh of relief and handed it over to the stranger whom grabbed it eagerly. " Nice work, goat ," she said to the satyr. " You made her drop it, but now she'll drop us. "

Claude leaped for the heart, barely catching it. And crashed into the ground, clutching it close to his chest. But with a gasp he realized she had cracked it. He got up, and whipped around to look at the dragon girl. 'You idiot! Do you realize what you have done? Now those two will die alone!' He screamed looking at the heart as a pinkish energy began to float through the cracks, inside of it he could see the fate of the couple who he had separated. They each had new mates and upon the breaking the heart, they tore away from their old mates. Their own hearts had grown cold, unable to love. Claude grasped the heart sadly, and watched as it crumbled in his hands and was blown into the wind. He then glared at Erin his eyes ablaze.

(O_O wow deep... -_-...) Felm jumped down next to the wolf girl and watched the Dragon run off. "What was that all about?" He asked turning his head towards her. He shrugged an added "Should I run after her? Or can I go back to bed now?" He smiled and snickered "Just kid- *The soccor ball returns to orbit slaming into the back of Felms head* "Mmm, Ow now I know how that feels!" Felm rubbed the back of his head then cracked it. "So what's your name?" (he's talking to nine)

Nine stared at the dragon girl as ran down the alley way, a kind of anger and sadness creeping into her psyche. She blinked as the soccer ball came down on the satyr. " So, whats your name ? ," he had asked, obliviouse to what had happened. The wolf girl started to walk down straight ahead, following the shifter. " Nine ," the teen said, friendly enough, and turned a corner, expressionless as usual, the sha.ttered in hand. " But she's right ," the shifter thought, continuing down the back road. She sniffed the air and new scents wafted on the wind mixed with that of trash and rats. The girl walked further down. Behind a large dumpster was the dragon girl, a broken knife by her side and two new shifters. The other girl was crying, tears running down her green scales. She looked at the shifter blankly and leaned against the grubby alley wall, looking on the pitieful scene. Nine reached into one of her belts many pouches and brought out a clear tape that could barely be seen, even by kedn eyes such as her's. The wolf girl started to a range the broken pieces and bandaged them together with the clear tape as carefully as if she was treating the broken wings of a dove. " These sha.ttered hearts may not be the first or the last ," she said and tossed the mended heart over to the sui.cidal shifter whom caught it easily. " but atleast we can put them back together, with work and with the help of time. "

Felm followed after Nine asking "Nine like the number nine? Or does it just sound like nine?" It was easy to keep up with she wolf I'm mean after all I have hooved feet. But Felm quickly discovered that Nine had a great sence of smell unlike Felms' clogged up noise hers' could smell were the dragon girl had went. They stoped at the seen... it was a sad sight... It appeared as though she had tried to ki.ll herself... but couldn't... She was cureled up and crying... Felm walked over to her and took of his track team jacket and put it on her shoulders. She was still wearing the tanktop so Felm thought that she might want to be covered... that and it was a little chill out. Felm tried to think of a joke to cheer things up... but he couldn't think of any that would help... only ones that would make her want to take off again and she was already hurt... so not being able to think of anything he just stood there aquirdly... The dragon girl just sat there shivering from held back tears... Finally Felm sat down next to her and asked a kindly and soothly as he could but of course that's when he voice dissided to crack "What's your name?"

Claude slammed his fists into the the wall of a nearby building, overe and over again. "You don't understand!" He roared hitting the walls harder. Then...he stopped realizing that blood was dripping from his knuckles. He was alone now. The dragon girl had left. With an angry sigh he looked around, hoping to see the shifters...but nothing...infact, it was deathly quiet, Claude began to walk about the city but found himself hopelessly lost. It was late at night, no one was around. The demon felt so hopelessly alone. "You heartless basturd, you rip apart the love of others..." He muttered angrily at himself. "But it's for their own good....it's preventing later pain right?" He tried to console himself. He began to tear up. With a sob he slid to the ground, grasping the jar carefully....It was all he had. Meanwhile a pair of pink eyes glared down at Claude. "You deserve every bit of this pain you monster.' The figure growled quietly before disappearing into the shadows.

Claude froze for a moment, his mind racing. Was this a trick? But then opened his eyes and looked up at her with surprise. He clutched the golden heart carefully and felt warmth flowing through him as her hand touched his. "It's fine, I wouldn't expect anyone to understand." He said softly, no longer crying. "Even Amity doesn't, and she is the literal embodiment of love." He sighed, looking up from Erin's eyes and into the stars. (Amity is a shape-shifter in this btw)

Claude looked at the dragoness gratefully for a moment. "Not really," He said chuckling weakly. "She thinks I do this for fun...but I don't! I do it to keep their hearts from growing cold, or in the worst cases...I must freeze the hearts of those who abuse the hearts of others. But Amity thinks it's just some games. She thinks I am heartless...but....I'm not...." His gaze fell on the Jar, where both shifters focus on one heart, it was a light blue gem, beautifully crafted, but seemingly in cased in a layer of ice like glass. The heart underneath the clear glass had a few cracks in it. As if it had been broken before. The ice seemed to be the only thing holding it together. It had a faint glow to it as well. Claude gently picked up the jar and placed it carefully in the book bag. "That's enough about me though...what about you?" He asked.

"Well does mean I can go back to bed?" Asked Felm yawning loudly and streatching his arms out. Nine gave him a flat glare and Felm added "Don't judge me! I have a track race in the morning. Plus I wanna be in bed before the cops get here, that's quite a mess!" said Felm then started walking back to the hotel

"Hmm..I see. My name is Claude, the one of a kind heart breaker.' He said flatly. 'Anyways, it's not safe to stay out in the city at night, why don't we head back to the hotel.'

"So Claude what's gonna be your excuse for that broken window." chuckled out Felm as he passed them on the way to the hotel. "I recamend just saying it was like that when I got there. May wanna hide the broken glass though so it looks like it happened a long time ago. Here I'll help." Felm began picking up bits and pecies of glass from the pavement floor (This is outside sence Ern flew out the glass would've flown out as well) With a hand full of glass Felm walked over to the trash can and dupped it in. "That should do it, wanna leave a bit or it looks suspisose." Claude gave him a look that asked have you done this before? "Don't judge me!" Deffened Felm holding up his hands "I've only broken a few windows..."

"It's Felm! Fell-Mmmm! Got it? I'm alright with Fown or Satyr but not goat boy, and deffinatly not sheep boy. It may look like I got the back side of a goat but it could be a horsed back side for all you know!" Ern looked up at Felms' horns and Felm covered them saying "Oh shut-up! That doesn't prove Bahhhhahah!" Felm covered his mouth and blushed. He then tried to move to a different subject by saying "And her name is Nine."

( my apologies for being away so long! ) Nine stared at Felm and the other shifter indifferently, but was really starting to panick. As everyone else had bern conversing and walking about, the wolf girl had been leaning against the alley wall, listening intently and taking in different scents and she had heard and smelled something very disturbing. The scent of two people, her guess men, had been close for sometime now. There was also the smell of gun residue and faint traces of old blood. They had been watching from the rooftops somewhere. Just watching. No movement. The teen looked around before nodding her head and following the other shifters into the hotel, clasping her gun tightly. They had found her.

Roar. Blood. Gunshots. Silence. More blood. That was what greeted Nine's senses as she walked through the hotel laby, her armore and all hidded in an old bag she had discovered in the alley. The teen paused for a moment, faint paw steps coming through ome of the upper windows and into one of the rooms. Her jaw clenched and she walked briskly, heading for the lioness. She walked in, shut the door, looked around, and made a b-line for the shifter whom was covered in blood and seemed quite pleased with herself. Nine droped her bag and growled deeply, glaring at her. " Do you know what you just did!? ," she asked, holding back her fury in a low, angry voice. " Do you know whom those two men worked for?! Hmm? You just haven't doomed yourself, but everyone of us! Claude, Erin and William are as good as dead all thanks to your hastieness and hot head! " " But . . . they ki.lled my parents ," the liones growled back. " So?! You don't just go around ki.lling people and expect no consequences! And what lovely ones you've brought on the rest of your friends now! " Nine picked up her gear and ran up the stairs for her room. There was no escaping, now.

Nine layed her bag carefully on the bed and took out her gun which gleamed in the moonlight. The scientists or their're henchmen wouldn't come until tomorrow, They would need time to plan and to move their're forces, but she wanted her gun all the same. The teen turned her head, staring out into the dark of night, thinking about her earlier burst of rage. It was surprising how much she had changed over the past month, how angry she had becom. The shifter fell down onto her bed, tired. Well, it didn't matter, did it? There was nothing she could do. It would probably all end in failure, but that was the way of the world. She turned over, depressed and wiery. Nine would make the most of the rest of the night. The teen closed her singal, whole eye, and fell into a fitful, troubled sleep.

"Girl friend?!? I don't have a girl friend, and it's Felm Felel-Mmm!" Felm turned and walked away from Ern trying to hide his annoyence. "Girl friend I don't have a girl friend. No girl likes hairy legs (normal people see his goat legs as really hairy legs! Maybe if I wore pants then, uh but pants are so annoying! I can't run in paints!" mummbles Felm to himself as he walks to his room. "Well at least I have the race to look forward in the morning that'll cheer me up!" Felm opened the door and slammed it shut! "Ah sleep at last." Felm slid into the covers and fell fast asleep

Claude nodded, "Alright, grab my hand," "Wha?" "Just do it!" They linked hands and both creatures were surrounded by darkness. Then a light shone and they were in the hotel room. Claude rushed to the door, bolted it, and pushed a couch in front of it. Then he summoned ice to seal the broken window. "Everything should be alright now, that ice can only be broken by me, or the breath of a dragon, and the door is barricaded." He said slumping to the floor, suddenly feeling light headed and weak. "Ugh...using the shadow realm to travel...hehe...can be....quite hard on one's energy." He said weakly. "I..might not...be awake...for much longer...make sure you...." His head slumped to the side as he passed out.

Felm woke the next morning to the coach pounding on his door! "Time to get ready hairy!" Felm:"Uhhhh! Okay coach!" Felm jumped up put on his track wear and opened the door. "Finally your ready! Did you hear the comotion last night?" Felm hesitated saying "No...?" Coach:"How could you not?!? It came from the rooms!" Felm:"Must've been a dragon or something." Smirked Felm Coach:"Must've, well come on. We're going to be late!" They rushed to the bus and to the track compition, but not before Felm was able to leave a note saying were he was going.
At the track feild things were... quite, there was only like twenty ppl! Well guess that's what you get from two schools in the middle of no were! Felm waited for the race part of compition which started after the long jump, and javelin throwing. Finally the race was up! Felm took of his shoes so that his hooves would be more exsesable, to other ppl it looked as though he'd run the race bare foot, which he was in a way, just hooved foot XD. The gun fired and Felm was off! He blazed ahead of everyone! He was already half threw the course when he felt something ping him in the- *Felm colapses unconsuse* (he was shot in the but by a trank XD) The coach goes crazy yelling at Felm to get up! He runs over to him to slap him awake! Medical ppl on the feild ran up with him to check what was wrong. Mean while the sniper that had shot Felm was given new orders! "Leave no witness!" The sniper answered with a "Copy that." He switched his gun and fired, real anmu.nition! "Is it done?" asked the capton Sniper:"Yes they're all de.ad, but the fown." Capton:"Good sending a pick up team now! Head back to base!"

(They sent a white van to pick him up.)

Nime's eye snapped open to foriegn scent, but mixed with a familiar one aswell. She sat up, gripping her hand gun. The teen sat there for a moment, paralized with fear. She shook her head, surpressing back haunting memories and geard up. The shifter then put a white and silver hoodie over her upper armore and slipped on an extra pair of jeans so that the shining titanium wouldn't be noticed. Nine took a deep breath, then unlocked the door and sprinted toward Claude's room. She slid to a hault and pounded on the door. " Claude! Erin! Their're here! Scientists! Hunters! Unlock the fracking door! "

Claude flickered his eyes open slowly, he was smiling from a dream he had, but now it had faded away. He sat up slowly and stretched, feeling very well rested. "Well hey there dragon girl." He said eying the muffins. "Thanks for the grub." Grabbing one he looked back up at her and paused. "Are you alright? You look pale. Claude asked suddenly dropping the bad boy act.
(Claude is more mischievous when he is happy and well rested. He was exhausted the other day so therefore, very sensitive.)

Nime looked blankley at Erin, annoyed. " Nine. My name is Nine.. " She gritted her teeth, then spoke. " So, there are these scientists, or, atleast, they call themselves that, and they've been tracking me down for the last month in order to try to recapture me. They've expierimented, . . . tor.tured ," she said, shuddering at her words. " and have trained me to fight, which is what I have done for them for most of my life. They are cruel, mercieless and will do anything for what they want. Hunters are people whom have the Sight and see us as a threat or abomanations. Their're main purpose is to ki.ll Shifters or capture them. They work along side the scientists. " The teen stopped here, frowning.

Claude kept a careful eye on the hunters, his ears back, and his long tail lashing. "Leave it to hunters to screw everything up." He muttered. A bullet whizzed past his face with a hiss. But he ignored it, simply scowling. "Erin you don't have to do this, I can just cast another shadow realm and get us out of here." He said looking at her, waiting for her answer.

Felm woke up to find himself in a small cell? Felm sat up on the only funiture that was in the room, which was a cot. He sat there dazed at first then started panicing! "Where am I!?! Is this a cell, a prision!?! Help!!!" Felm jumped onto the bars and started shakeing them! They were solid, didn't even rattle! But Felm had one more trick up his sleeves. He sat down in a pull up position and kicked at the bars with all his might! *Clang* One of the bars bent alittle, so Felm kicked again and Again! The bar was now bent just enough for him to get out. Felm squeezed threw and started clomping down the halway of cells just like his. They were all emty, wait spoke too soon. "Hey your that loin girl that was with whats his face?" Asked Felm pointing at Sand threw the bars. "Here we're getting outta here!" Felm sat down and started to kick at the bars!

Claude looked over Erin. "Fine, but at least let me help you when you land." He said laying down and stretching lazily.

Nine looked about the room, indifferent to its settings except for that fact that if there was a fire fight the house wouldn't last ten minutes. She looked over at Erin nonchelantly saying; " Not I. I have alreadly explained once, but would you like to explain why you haven't bandaged up that bullet wound? " The teen gestured at her folded wings, picking up the scent of the shifter's blood.

Claude sat beside Erin silently for a moment, his eyes worried and distant. The voices of the others as they told their stories slowly faded as Claude began to focus on the aura's of the others. At that moment Claude looked at Erin sensing that she was hiding something. He leaned closer to her, "Erin let me help, I know you are hurt." He whispered into her ear. Genuine worry flowed through him. Guilt even.

"The name is Felmmm." Said Felm irratidly "So why didn't you bust outta there sooner!?! Never mind lets just find a way outta here." Just then seven quards came in! "Halt!" one of them yelled. "Ya right." muttered Felm as he came running at them! He jumped up and kick two of them in the face knocking them out! "Ha ha!" yelled Felm truphently holding up his hands then turned to see that Sand had taken out the other five. "Man what does it take to look good in front of a girl?" Pouted Felm sagging his shoulders. Sand just gave him a look that said, Alot! Felm roled his eyes and kicked the door open. "Ladies first." He bowed holding out his hand with a evil grin that said two can play at that game!

"Yeah, you're perfectly fine sleeping beauty." Claude said sarcastically as he caught Erin and gently laid her head on his lap. Since she was asleep he unzipped her coat to evaluate the damage. A big red splotch covered her shirt, and her other wing which she had curled against her side. He noticed a glance from Rose, Nine, and William. "Shut up, I am not a perv." He growled before looking at her wounds again. Slowly he touched the middle of the red splotch and let ice flow through his fingertips, it covered the wound and immediately began sealing it, After a moment or two Claude could tell that the wound was healed, so he forced the ice to dissolve. He then looked at her wing and did the same spell to seal that wound. Now that his work was done he laid back against the couch and sighed.

Nine slumped against one of the couches, breathing a sigh of relief. " We'll haveto be more careful. Alot more careful. That was vikinsons poison, or ' viki ' as we lab rats like to call it. It completely stops wounds from healing and prevents the blood from clotting up. Only the scientists have the cure to it. If Claude hadn't been here, you would be bleeding out now. " The shifter looked at Claude curiously. " I don't suppose you could do that often? "

Nine looked down as Rose said " young love ". " I use to have that ", the shifter thought, tapping the floor uncomftorbaly. " I'll take the main floor ," she said and pulled out a stun grenade which she placed on the coffee table promptly. " Erin, you shouldn't take one of the beds. " Erin looked at her questioningly. " I was being sarcastic ," Nine replied simply and stood up, peering out of the windows. " I can't wait till the others get here ," the teen muttered to herself, emphasizing ' others ' heavily.

Felm head but the guard that had stabed Sand, knocking him to the ground. "Hey leave some for me! Man some damzal in destress." Felm grinned at Sand then frowned at the knife logged in her back. "Hold still let me get that out." Felm walked over and prepared to pull it out, and fast! "I'm gonna pull this out like a cactus needle, nice and fast okay?" Sand was in the middle of saying 'okay' when Felm pulled. Better to do it when they're not expecting it that way their muscles don't tighten around it! "Sorry had to do that." Felm cringed at the wound then grabbed one of the knocked out guards and removed his shirt for a bandage. Ripping it up into long strips he tied it around Sans' wounds. "Gosh I feel like a candy striper!" joked Felm as he finished rapping it up, then he jumped up ahead saying "Now it's your turn to be the damzal!" A door opened at the end of the halway and before the soliders could come out Felm head but them into each other like dominos!

(I just realized rose was thinking young love not saying it.) Claude's eyes were soft as they looked at Erin. "It was no problem, really." He said. "Uh...Erin you may still be weak from everything that has happened so you should take the bed, and I guess Will can take the other. I can just sleep on the couch." Claude decided. "Goodnight everyone..." He said with a tired smile.

"Your parents are here?" Felm asked in confusion but Sand had already started runing back to the prison cells. "Wait San!" Felm ran after her. When he got to the room San had already slain one of the soliders, leaveing Fourteen left. The ki.lling horrified Felm he had seen plenty of movies but never real de.ath. Felms' thoughts returned back to reality as San kicked a solider when he charged her. She then pulled what Felm believed to be her father away. A solider came up from behind Sand with a knife and Felm jumped at him screaming "Look out!" The guard turned towards Felm as he head butted the him in the gut sending him flying. Felm stood straight looking trumpently at Sand "Who's the damzal now?" Asked Felm snotally grinning ear to ear but his grin turned to a frown when he saw the look on her face. "What?" Felm asked then looked down and saw a knife putruding from his stomach. "Oh will you look at that. *looks back up* Hu, I'll be damzal." Felm began to feel dizzy and stumbled to the ground. He looked dimly at Sands' horried expretion, but he just smiled and said "Better get going before my death doesn't mean nothing..." Felm shuttered and coughed up some blood. The thirteen guards left rushed forwards towards them with night sticks!

( Frack! My apologies! I must have not read it well ) Nine blinked, slightly confused at William's fright, then took in a deap breath, looking at Claude. " Claude ," she asked, giving him a luke-warm stare. " I'll be taking the first watch. " She turned and leaned on the windowcill, contemplating the past, present, and future. She was getting close to them. The cared for the group of shifters. She hadn't done that in a long while. The wolf girl shook her head, examining one of her long, curved knives. Should she really let herself become friends with them? Nine blinked. She had no answer to that. The teen glanced over at Claude, then at the cealing, onward to the couches, and back to the window. " Its so . . . still ," the shifter thought, relaxing her muscles. " Maybe too still. I wonder how Felm and San are? Hopefully they haven't met any of the soldiers yet. The guards should be easy enough for Sand. Felm? Hmm . . . " At this point her thoughts became quiet. The girl listend intently, alert and yet calm.

Felm moans then mumbles "Now I really am the damzal. " he then grumbles and starts to gurgle blood out "I can't breathe." he final manages to spluter out as he chokes on his own blood.

Claude blushed as Erin's lips met his forehead, and felt warmth flood through him. He let out a dreamy sigh knowing she was now up stairs and allowed himself to relax and fall asleep...
(In the dream, there was a distant memory) Claude sat next to a shadowy form, feeling happy and warm, their hands were clasped gently. "Claude...I have never felt happier with anyone, I just want you to know that.." The figure said. Claude smiled and leaned closer, "You make my life have meaning again darling...." He whispered, only inches away from her. She turned to him revealing pink eyes. Amity's eyes...."Your eyes always were so beautiful," He murmured, then he pressed his lips against hers, but at that moment, it seemed as if fire cloaked them both. Pain surged through both shifters. Claude fell backwards and the jar came rolling out of his bag. Amity was stunned for a moment, but saw the jar and picked it up. Claude slowly got up and realized with horror what Amity was holding..."Claude what the hell is this?!" She shrieked.
"Amity I..." "You're the stealer of hearts, you were sent here to kill me weren't you! DEMON!" She screamed. "Amity you don't-" "Get the hell away from me Claude," She said coldly.
"Amity..."
"Get away!" She then held up the jar and threw it to the ground, with a sickening sound, cracking the blue heart within. "NO!" He screeched feeling his chest burn. Amity flew off while Claude scrambled over to the broken heart, He could barely breath...As he held the blue heart...He cried...he would die if he couldn't fix this...With a last bit of energy he froze the area around the heart and put it back in the jar. He curled up in a fetal position, sobbing until he passed out... Claude woke up shivering and breathing hard, he clutched his chest, and then checked the jar. The blue heart was still there, cracked but protected by ice... "Never forget....." Amity's voice echoed in his ears,

"What are you talking about?..." gurgled Felm as they bounded down the halway. They came to a door which they opened to find a gorage full of cars. Sands' mom found a key rack and grabbed all of them! She started pushing the bottons and a white car bleeped. They ran for it and hoped in! Sands' parents got in the front, her father at the wheel. While San got in the back with Felm. Felm lay groaning in agony, his head resting on Sands lap. Sands' father started the car and they were off! (hope this is all right midnight, wanted to get things moving)

(Sure^-^) They had stopped at a hospital not knowing were else to go to fix Felm up. Sands' father said I'll take him from here you two find a place to hide, and I'll sniff you out when they get him patched up. Sands' Father threw the keys to her mother then grabed Felm and put his arm around his shoulder and started dragging him in. Sands' mother gave San a look that said we have alot to talk about. They walked over to the car and drove off in surch of a place to hide. (Sand could like get a sent when they pass near the hotel and then they meet up with the others) Sans' Father dragged Felm into the hospital and imeadetly Doctors and nurses ran to help. They took him to the emergancy room were they got to work, while a they took Sans' Father to a different room for questioning. He had a good story planned out too, he lied and told them that Felm had been carving at a stick. He got it stuck and pulled on it trying to get it out and it came out stabing him in the gut. He also lied to them about being his father. Needing no further questioning they sent him to the waiting room. Thirty minutes later they had Felm stable, but he remained in a dazed state. (hope this works for you midnight)

Nine had dozed off quietly, hazey dreams of war engulfing most of her conciousness. She recalled the bombs exploding, the gun fire, smoke, dead bodys, blood and . . . them. Her friends. Those times seemed so long ago. What had happened to them? Where in the panic had they fled? Where was . . . eleven? The shifter opened her eye and shookher head, trying to break from the uneasy dream world. The girl looked over at the couch where Erin sat, comforting Claude as he wept in his sleep. She sighed, clutching her gun. How cruel life was to take eleven from her but to give companions to the rest of them. She nearly chuckled at her selfishnes. The former soldier stood and walked toward the other teens. " Erin ," she said drowsily, still breaking from the clutches of sleep. " Wake Claude up, please? My watch is-." Nine stopped. Scents car. Gravel. Traces of aging blood. Door nocking. Voice. The teen strutted toward the door and opened it just enough for Sand to slip through. " You have alot to tell us ," Nine said blankly, looking at the lioness up and down.

Sands' Father sat inpatently, why was he watching after this boy, when he should be with his wife and daught? He should be catching up on all the years he lost with daught, not watching after this satyr! Final he got up and just left, the satyr can take care of himself. Sands' father walked outside and sniffed for the fimilar sent of his wife. Catching a wiff of it he followed it. It took him several hours but he finally made it to were the sent ended. The white car was parked to the side of a strange house. He walked up too it and pounded on the door calling out for Sand. (hope this is all right with you midnight)

(yah it's okay) Just then a scientist and a hunter walked in the room. The Scientist walked to the bed and pulled all the wires off. The hunter then noticed Ern on the floor behind it. He gave a surprised yelp and jumped at her pulling a trank gun out! The scientist squeled like a little pig and started pulling the bed away, with Felm mummbleing "I want some goat cheese, I love goat cheese... *snoorrreekkkk*"

Nine jumped out of the way as Erin ran through the door like a bat out of Hell and flew into the night. Nine looked solemnly at Sand's father, her eye look at him strait in his own amber eye's. " Your such a caring, reliable person! ," the teen said sarcasticly with a tint of anger in her voice and turned to Sand. " While we're waitimg for Erin, would you mind answering afew questions like if you saw where their're secondary base was, how far it is, and if you saw anyone . . . like myself? " Nine rolled up her sleeve showing Sand her armore which bore the number nine on its silvery surface.

(Ooo it would be interesting to bring Five, six, and two into the rp for abit)

*some time later but not too much* Felm woke, he looked groggally around then down at him self. "Bahhh!!! Where are my pants!?!" he yelped but instently regreated it. "Ooo why does everything, hurt so bad?" He groaned grasping his stomach. "Gosh, you know, this is the worst feild trip, ever..." He exhealed painfully and relaxed abit. "So, *gringes* what's up with Erny? Were are we? How did I get here? Where is Sand? Does anyone have some goat cheese? And seriously were are my pants?" Felm rambled on like some drunken fool. He blacked after the last question from all the pain.

Claude grinned mischeiviously, "Not bad huh?" he said taking off his glasses. He rubbed his chin, debating that statement for a moment. Noticing the glassy look in the dragon girl He braced himself to catch Erin as she fell. Claude looked at her for a moment and then at everyone who was still concious. "Everyone who votes that we draw Felm and Erin's faces say I!" He called out laughing and playing with Erin's hair. He finally set her on the couch and went to look for a magic marker.

Nine shrugged her shoulders at Claude's mischivouse schemes. She would to let Claude take the blame if one of them decide that his silly joke wasn't so hilariouse. " Its on your watch ," the teen said plainly and folded her arms, rather bored, until Sand woke up that is. The shifter subdude a snicker at the lion shifter's words. Then the lioness started to answer her questions, haltingly at first, but she recalled them quickly enough. Nine listend intently, standing strait and her singal eye locked onto Sand. " Five miles?! ," she exclaimed, gripping her gun. " Well isn't that a safe distance! I could walk that far! " Then wolf shifter fell silent. There was no one there . . . No Five, no One, no Six, no Eleven. It didn't really surprise the teen, though. That was her luck afterall. However, the really disturbing thing was that the scientists and the hunters weren't there. Just lowly guards. The plus soldiers should have been there or exmilitary. Yet, it was empty? Why? Nine mentioned this to the rest of them plainly, making her worry known. " I think their're planning something ," the girl said, her eye fixed onto the wooden floor.

Claude fiddled with the marker for a few moments before walking over to Felm, "Hmmm now wha should we put on you goat-boy? Ahh I know!" He said mockingly. Twirling the marker in his fingers, he slowly began to outline Felm's eyelids and lips in black. He chuckled and then drew a french mustache on Felm. "Oh yeah, one last touch!" A uni-brow was then added to Felms forehead. "Doesn't he look wonderful?" The shifter said, then he burst out laughing, some of the others did as well. With a smirk Claude tossed the marker to William. "How about you give make-up design a go."

Felm jumped when Sand screamed at willam "Who cut the cheese?" He yelped then sniveled and rubbed his eyes making black smugges. Looking around at everyone then a the ever paleing Sand. "You look like a clown! Were's your red smile?" Felm fell back and was out again. Sands' father rushed to his daughters side. He was too busy talking to his wife to hear her. "We have to get you to a doctor!" He started fumbleing to lift her. (So if the cut didn't heal on Ern or Sand, does that mean Felm has internal bleeding?)

After the fire ordile Felm gained consuiosness again He groaned and sat up wincing a bit. He looked around and stopped at Ern. He snickered and cryed at the same time. (he's crying cause it hurts to laugh) He finaly containted himself and sloached in the chair breathing hard. He looked down at Sand and frowned "So much for my first aid class..." he mummbled. "Hey does anyone have anything to eat?" his pleaded feeling very faint

Nine's mouth had dropped at everyone's lack of interest. Sand's blood was pooling on thr floor and yet all they did was doodle?! It was crazy! The teen had moved toward Sand, intending on inspecting the wound further when a jet of purple came shooting out of Erin's maw. She had jumped back, startled, but amazed to see the lion shifter's wound close up easily and quickly. Choking. Pleading. Sand'sfather was choking Erin! Nine strutted toward him as he finaly let go at seeing Sand's healing, standing passively to the side. " What the frick did you think you were doing?! ," the shifter yelled at him, her trigger finger itching to fire the gun. " First you left Felm and now your choking people?! What kind of sick person chokes an obviously impared teen without thinking first?! Your a hasty idiot with rocks in your head! " By now Nine didn't really care what she was saying to whom. Lack of sleep and stress was starting to have a strong effect on her emotions and judgement. " Also, what about the rest of you?! You all stood there, except for Erin who is half tranqualized, doodling on people's faces while Sand is bleeding out! Your all out to lunch! " With that, the wolf shifter pounded out the door and across the woods, following her nose to the base. She had had enough of this. It was all too much. This time, Nine would be the attacker, not the standbyer or the defender.

Claude's eyes widened as he realized what was going on, "I-I didn't realize...." He stuttered, then he began to approach Sand, (I honestly didn't see that comment, sorry) "I can fix this." He said beginning to place his hand's on Sand's back. A blue glow came from his fingertips as he began the healing process. He had just gotten a scab over the wound when a shout was heard. "STAY AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER YOU FREAK!" Everything was blurry as a gunshot echoed throughout the room. Pain exploded in Claude's back. Was the room spinning? It sure seemed that way...Screams were heard as Claude fell to the floor with a resounding thud...His fate unknown. (Sand's father thought Claude was trying to hurt Sand so he grabbed Nine's gun and shot Claude.)

Felm jumped when he heard the gun shot, next thing he knew Sand was chasing her father out! Then Ern was holding Claude who was now bleeding! Next thing he knew he was being kicked off the couch and into the basement! Now Felm was just siting in a corner in the basement, just siting there. He didn't know what to do so he just sat there and lended his head against the wall and cried. Felm was really really scared now. Which was odd because ah days ago he was shot in the but with a trank, locked up, stabbed, and woke up to this! It was all too much. He was just a normal shifter that lived with his grandparents in a small town in the middle of no where. He wasn't cut out for this, the drama was too much. So he cried, he hadn't cried in a long time... not sence his parents left him with his grandparents... sence then he had nothing to cry about... he had no friends everyone thought he was stupid, which they were right, he was pretty stupid... but it runs in the family. I'm a satyr...

Nine tromped through the woods, dead leaves and dried twigs cracking under her weight. She sniffed the air, finding through her sence of smell that the small base was only afew yards away. The shifter quikend her pace, eager to attack. " I've had dnough of being hunted! ," the teen said quietly, reaching for her gun . . . Gone! Nine looked down instantly. Where was it?! She growled. Things were going all wrong as usual. The wolf girl then reached around her waist to the back of her dark utility belt and pulled out a secondary gun. This one was a lighter black and sported an elongated barrel which she had scr.ewd on a week ago along with a small, green glowing telescope, making it into a hand-held sniper rifle. Nine treked on, closing the gap between her and the enemy. Soon, she came to the edge of a steep cliff overlooking the base which now bussled with vehicles, helecopters, and troops of men, probably exmilitary with dishonerable discharges. The teen crouched, taking cover behind afew holly bushes, ready for battle. Then one of the helecpters came down, one with blacked out windows and extra guns. It stopped ten feet above the ground, its helecpter blades going round and round, flattening the grass around from the force of the wind it created. Ten soldiers jumped out, each in darkly colored armore and about a foot taller then any of Nine's collegues or herself were, and on their're armore were numbers and plus signs. " Its them ," the shifter breathed, her muscles tencing and adrenaline pumping through her body like some form of electricity. She looked through the specialized gun and looked through the telescope, zooming in on one expieriment inparticulare. This one wore a dark blue armore, the number nine on her shoulder and a plus sign next to it. The hybrid, for a hybrid she was, had long, strait golden hair and patches blue snake scales on her face, neck, and hands. She was smiling, her pupils thin slits and her fangs glistening. " That bit.ch! ," Nine-

muttered, ready to fire.

All ah sudden Five was pushed off the helicopter with hands cuffed behind his back. Two other plus signs guarded him +Seven and +Four their guns trained on him ready to fire at any move ment he made. Fives' left eye was brused blue and he had several cuts on his cheek from being punched in the face. He looked around taking in his surroundings but was shoved along by +Seven who looked much like the original seven. (Hey raven is this all right? You could even have Six come out from the helicopter)

Six was thrown from the helicopter, scowling at the guards. These guards were really pissing her off... She glanced at Five but was then butted in the chest by +Eight. "Move along kitty." The upgraded eight grumbled. Six flattened her ears and cursed under her breath. She and five had been trapped for months, alone, and separated. It was rare that she got to even got to glimpse Five. Her heartfelt torn and battered, he was the only one she had ever been comfortable around... Six realized she had paused and took another step forward, only to be shoved by another upgraded experiment. "What did +eight say? Oh that's right....MOVE!" The guard shouted. Six cringed as her broken arm was touched. Last week they had beaten her for not doing she was told...countless bruises and her broken arm were the result. Why did nine have to leave them? It wasn't fair that they had to endure this cruelty while she was free to do as she pleased! Frustration filled Six as she heard the guards laughing among themselves.

Five glanced back to look at Six, but was punched square in the noise by +Seven! He stumbled back a bit but regained his footing quickly with the newly inhansed sences, that the chemical had given him. He now had cat ears, claws, and sences, just like Six. It was the only way for him to regain control over himself. Five stood straight and looked straight a +Seven, he smilled at him and said coldly "That all you got, cause that didn't hurt at all." +Seven smiled then said "Well if I can't hurt you then I'll hurt your little girl friend." He grabed Sixs' broken arm and pulled her ruffly forward, she yelped with pain! Fives' eyes widened with fear and anger, he yelled "Stop! Please stop! I'll do what you say, just please stop hurting her." Five looked down and his shoulders sagged the energy was gone. He had held captive along with Six for several months. They kept them separated which was the worst thing about it... It happened right after Nine left, she just ran off one day... then the pluses attacked, they ki.lled everyone... everyone but them. One and Two were thankfully at another base when this happened, but then why hadn't they come to save them yet? Where, and why did Nine run off? +Seven smilled and said "That's more like it, maybe I won't beat her as much as yesterday!" He started laughing. Five looked up at him pure hatried in his eyes! +Seven then choved Five along pulling Six ruffly behind him. Five so badly wanted to stop him but he'd hurt her more! Five felt hopeless he couldn't do anything... he was powerless... Five hung his head low and moved along

Six held back tears as her arm burned and throbbed. The guards were still being rough with her, and teasing five. Guilt and anger flowed through her...She hated it, she hated the scientists, she hated the others for abandoning them, and she hated herself for being weak! Tears now stung her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. "Hey, what did we say about those!"+Eight said, malice dripping in his voice, Six straightened herself out and began walking more quickly and briskly. She wanted to scream! The cat girl felt her claws slide out of her hands, she was so fed up with this.

"What?" Six exclaimed shooting a worried glance at Five.

( Got it, Todies ) Nine's eye widened as two bruised and beaten were pushed out of the chopper. " Its . . . Its . . . ," she stuttered, unable to believe what her eye beheld. Five and Six . . . alive . . . The wolf girl could only stare through her telescope as Six and Five as they were taunted and hurt further, all the while Nine watched from the ground, a broad smile creasing her face. " But they . . . sh-should be dead! The Five and Six w-were . . . were . . . " The shifter didn't even blink at Sand's presence or even hear the shifter. Then something happened. Sand suddenly jumped onto the chopper, making it lean toward the upgraded soldiers and hopped down, pushing Six and Five out of harms way. At that moment a rage and regret burst forth through the teen, driving her to attack. Nine scre.amd and fired at the soldiers below in no comprehensive direction. Meanwhile the plus expieriments jumped out from the path of the helicopter, except for Eight whom had his arm torn off by the twirling helicopter blades. The crash was deafening. Lumps of earth went up like fireworks and an explosion rent the air. Nine skidded down a nearby hill as the combat soldiers sprayed bullets at her and Sand. Many of the projectiles bounced off of her armore, two grazed her face, and one stuck its mark in her left forarm. She growled in pain as blood trinkled from her wounds like wayer. The teen rolled onto the flat ground and pulled out a round metal ball. With her right the shifter through the explosive into the minagery of troopers and turned, covering her ears. A blinding flash and a sound like an eathen thunderclap came from the round ball. She whipped around clinging at her prominent bullet wound, taking cover and a tall bolder. " I need to . . . to get them! Yes! Save . . . Save them! "

Five gasped in surprise as he was pushed to ground, then something exploded! Five covered his ear s to quite the deathening roar. When it quieted a little he whirled around to see were Six was. He was releaved to see that she was okay. Five also saw who had pushed them over. It was some kind of lion girl or something, he didn't really care at that moment. All that mattered was getting Six to saftey. Five extended his claws and cut the cuffs off. He ran over to Sixandd did the same. He could hear the pluses yelling and shooting at something but as long as they were focused on that and not them it didn't matter. Five didn't wait for Six to say anything to him, he just picked her up and ran. He cradled her bettween his arms and tried not to bump her broken arm too much. They were almost to the woods when someone tacked him. Five turned just enough to were he took most of the fall. He whirled around to see +Seven. He jumped at him and pined him to the ground. He raped his fingers around his throat and started to choke him!

Nine shot at another trooper as he let loose an explosive. She ducked behind the boulder, just avoiding the bomb. The teen gritted her teeth, whining. A metal fragment had found its way into her side, sticking out like an over-sized metalic thorn. " No no! ," the shifter growled as she jumped to her feet and ran, throwing a chemical grenade at Nine whom was happily shooting at her. The plus soldiern just pressed a button and a hel,et formed over her head, protecting her from the toxins. Nine scowled, glancing over as One started to-. One! Two was there aswell, manning a gun turret! This was . . . amazing! The wolf girl then ducked, a berage of bullets being hurtled at her head. She rolled next Five as he choked Seven, hated in his fiery gaze. " F-Five! ," Nine stuttered shaking him. He didn't acknowledge. She shook her head, chasing away bad memorys, and pushed him off, taking his place. The girl lifted her gun above the expieriment and, without warning, hit him across the head, nocking him out completely. " For info ," she said, not sure as to what else to say. The shifter fired another volley at the troopers scr.eaming: " ONE! She's a friend! Let go! "

(Wait wait wait, I'm confused now? Dragon did you mean Five+ or Seven+, Sundra did you knock Seven+ off, or... I'm sorry I'm just lost in the comments)

( What happened was Nine pushed Five off of Seven and then nocked the enemy soldier out. Also, I think Dragoness may be talking about the origional Seven. )

Sundra kicked 7 plus off I guess and is now holding him down.)
Six stared in shock at the experiments surrounding her, Nine, one, two, and six. It was incredible. But the only thing that really mattered to her was that five was ok, she ran over to him and wrapped him in a one armed hug. i

Holding back tears of joy, she held him as tightly as she could. He was all that mattered.

Five struggled to get out of Seven+s' grasp but he couldn't get out! They were going to be inprisoned again, he then realized... the energy to fight left him and he stoped stuggleing. Then all a sudden to his surprise 'NINE' came in and kicked Seven+ off him! She took the but off her gun and slammed it into his face knocking him out, she then turned to the battle feild and called out to 'ONE'! She was telling her to not hurt the lion girl that had pushed them. Five just stared out into space, One, Two, Nine, they were all here, they- Six jumped into his arms and raped him in a one armed hug. There he thought, now we're all back together. He huged Six tightly in his arms, he'd never let go again, never. "Six... there... there's something I need to tell you... I... I-" A car screached infront of Nine and Two opened the door yelling "Hey you two love birds as much as I hate to ruin the moment, we need to get outta here!" Fives' ears dropped but he complied, he picked up Six and ran for the car. He gently sat Six in the back set then got in with her, closing the door behind him. Two started to drive off then stopped and put it in reverse "Oh you too Nine." Tessed Two Nine rolled her eyes and got in the back as well, she was badly wounded but Five didn't have anything to patch her up with, so she'd just have to hold on for a little longer. Two put the car into gear and slamed on the gas! The car roared over to One and the lion girl. Two opened the door and the hoped in the front seats. One getting cozy in the middle next to Two. Five snickered a little, but stopped when One looked back at him giveing him a look that said Shut-up! Two switched gears and roared off!
Nine gave them directions to this house were there where others like the lion girl, which Two reluctently obeyed even though he wanted to take them back to the base were they could propery patch her up, but Nine insisted. Five didn't care either way all he cared about was being able to hold Six in his arms. They where together again after so many months of weary and fear. He thought he lost her, that they were only useing her as a way to get him to comply. Five held her a little closer and whispered "I love you." into her cat sencitive ears. Five felt like a burden had been lifted he couldn't remember if he ever told her that, he could remember saying he liked her but not that he loved her. When he said that he noticed that Nine grew alittle tenser... like... jealousy? Was she jealous? Five felt guilty for a moment... Nine didn't have anyone... well she did start to take a likeing to that Eleven expirment but... but he had been ki.lled in the... the battle... Five looked at Nine feeling sorry for his little sister... Five turned his head back to Six and huged her a bit tighter. Five didn't know what he'd do with out her... he'd probably d.ie...

Six closed her eyes and and rested her head on his shoulder. "I love you too." She whispered into his equally sensitive ears. Five was her everything. Her one and only. She would be dead by now without him... Words could hardly describe everything Six wanted to say. She was just happy to be free, and with him. If she could just be free with him forever, it would all be okay. Even if they didn't have money. They would find a way. Although Six had to wonder...How would people react to them? (The scientists found a way to abuse the mist so that they could see through it)

Nine shifted uncomftorbaly, a strange sadness and lomlieness coming over her. They were all here . . . but not Eleven. Where had he gone? She looked out the car's window, her hand over her side wound. " What if he . . . " the teen didn't end her thought, finding it too painful to finish. " No! ," she thought tightening her hand into a fist. " He's alive! He has to be! " Nine looked over at Five and Six, then at One and on to Two. This was so . . . strange. They should be dead. All of them, but they weren't. The shifter scowled. Another trick. Thats how the scientists controled you: through trickery and pain. The soldier opened her mouth to say something to whomever would listen, but she only croaked. " U-umm . . . So . . . You all look . . . okay . . . kind'ave . . . Somewhat . . . N-not really but . . . " Nine wanted to slap herself. Ofcourse they weren't okay! Just looking at them told her that much! She laid head back, exasperated with herself.

Five looked up at Nine. "I think we should be asking if your okay, are you?" That wound looked pretty deep and she was lossing alot of blood. "Nine where did you run off too?... The night before the attack, you just disappeared..." Five wasn't sure why she left or if she left. She could've been on one of her nightly escursions... but it just seemed like she abandoned them... like Four and Ten, they had gone back to their families, when the good scientists found them... they never looked back... was that what she did?... no that couldn't possibly be it... could it... She didn't have any family... except them... "Nine are you okay?..." asked Five after she didn't answer him
