I think the best thing about drawing angels are giving them a sort of whimsy/divine appeal. When drawing Gabriel i thought of him to be feminine and yet have a boyish demeanor about him, so i gave him short blonde hair with mature blue eyes.
I hope you guys like him ^^ he was really fun to draw!
