The shadows look like perfect spheres! And the Babys face is so funny XD. Man, you always do great! I tried something similar in therms of 3D, with one of my drawings but i feel i couldnt reach the desirable effect :S, i will download this drawing to learn more with your layer technique, i hope you wont mind!

I like that rather than draw them furry as such, youve cut away the edges I think, making them look and feel like negative space technically and visually :D .
