A pic of Oxbow, winning the Preakness in my favorite way, leading start to finish. I used no reference so it's probably a little inacurate. I didn't even try to do the details of the silks, so I was a little lazy this time. I was running late due to other projectd. #horse

Thanks so much! when I was teaching myself to draw I started with books on how to draw horses and branched out from there, so they are still a favorite subject. I also grew up with a beautiful little Arab mix, so they are dear to my heart.

good drawing. Only thing is that in an actual race, the jockey isn't really sitting in the saddle; they stand in the stirrups. Also, that's a bit young looking for Gary Stevens ;)
