Yeah, in my opinion you should shade his head but i suggest you to ask someone with more experience on shading

im thinking maybe not because totodile is in front of chikorita slightly and the leaf wouldnt cover it all the way.i just want some opinions

if chikoritas leaf is covering totodile it should be over totodile and it should be brighter but if the leaf is covering from a flat angle then shade,well thas why i think but still i like the shading you did.

Ha ha ha! Yep i love black too, but i don´t wear it a lot right know, because everyone was telling me "are you emo?" or "you look like a gothic" so i use many colors dB
