I think it should only be done if done properly, like to really enhance the 3d effect like my Gorillaz drawing. I traced that one because I knew it would look super cool with the 3d. Most of my stuff is original though :p
I completely agree! I mean, there ARE some exceptions when someone uses a photo then makes a beautiful and complex painting over it, but those are rare. People are abusing of tracing in an effortless way.
Exactly what I hate. Some people can't just appreciate originality. My take on the photos is that it is only worth it if it's a picture taken of a landscape, building, object, but definatly not traced common fanart or videogame art.
