OKAY HERE WE GO (My au)
So Grian and Pearl are five years apart (Grian being the youngest)
Grian is a macaw hybrid (PESKYBIRB)
Pearl is a moth hybrid :)
Grian got the Avian genes from his dad (who isn't an Avian but his mom was) Pearl got it from the mom (Also human.)
The mom and dad never really had a healthy relationship and only ever wanted one daughter
Pearl was pretty loved and she never really wanted a sibling

The mom was not happy. She didn't want another especially not a boy
Dad didn't want another but didn't care /neg
Pearl didn't like it either till Grian was born :]
Then she was like 'If anyone hurts my baby brother I will hunt you down to the ends of the earth.' hehehehe
In the beginning the parents were only verbally ab-sive but as Grian got older it got worse.
The mom became an alcøhølic (NOT GOOD :( )

He was sent to Japan when he was 7.
He hid his wings under his clothing but didn't care as much if people knew.
I've spent so much time making this next part so GET COMFORTABLE

No one interacted with Grian much in this new school. All the kids had known eachother for many years and didn't want new people.

Grian was always suspicious of adults and didn't trust them. He was also pretty snappy with the other kids.
He figured that no one actually wanted to love him because he didn't deserve that (f the parents) so why even try to get close to someone if they'll just hurt him (sob)
Sam and Taurtis wanted to talk with the new kid but never did
Sam was confused and didn't know why Grian would always flinch when someone lifted their arms so he asked his dad

His dad explained that sometimes parents are mean for no reason and that Sam should try to be nice to Grian
Sam and Taurtis still never talked to him.
Silly was the first to ever talk to Grian.
Grian was confused and hesitant but started warming up when Silly showed nothing but pure love to him
They eventually hung out everyday
Silly encouraged Sam and Taurtis to talk to him and they did.
They all became friends yipee

FASTFORWARD TILL GRIAN JOINS HERMITCRAFT
Still making it and didn't make yhs or kov or watchers

X found Grian while doing somthing outside the server

In the middle of nowhere X saw somthing that looked like a Watcher
He got a bit closer and it was. It was balled up against a tree and It looked like it was crying. X didn't really care about that. It was a Watcher ans he should k-ll it.
It had not see him yet and he was about to deliver the k-lling blow when it looked up

X saw genuine fear in It's eyes which was unheard of. The Watcher quickly scooted away.
X was confused but he knew this wasn't a normal Watcher. He heard it mumble 'pls don't hurt me' many times. X knelt down to look at It and whispered
"I'm not going to hurt you." A pause
"You're a Watcher, right?"
It glared
"'M hate Watchers" It mumbled
X smirked
"Me too buddy"
"But.. Yeah. i'm not like them though. I hate them."
"Good. That's good"

Anyway there's a lot more to this story especially in Grian's childhood but this is the very oversimplification of it :)

OJAY gonna start my au yapping but i might not finish rn STRAP IN BUDDY

OK SO Pearl and G are 5 years apart n their parents are overall shítty :angel: theyre negligent and can get physical when angry, and pearl and g pretty much js raised themselves- also jimmy is a close cousin in this he's 2 years older than g
anyways g's family had some financial issues and sent him over to japan, where he stayed with an aunt for a few years before said aunt moved to britain, which is where g met mumbo. G went to 3rd and 4th in japan, then 5th and middle school in britain before-

moving back to japan (the aunt was staying in japan but originated from britain, but liked it so much she went back) while in japan, g met taurtis and sam the way its depicted canonically, as originally being rude to them but eventually warming up to them. He met silly because she was his neighbour, and his aunt made him play with her. He got along with her quickly as they balanced eachother out, and kept in contact when he left to britain. When G came back to japan, he wrote letters to mumbo-

almost on a daily basis, and continued this up,until the events of evo (mumbo knows of everything b4 evo) the majority of yhs and ts is the same as canon for me, but sam wasnt "possessed" or some shít :skull: he got overwhelmed with jealousy as grian and taurtis had gotten really close n that pissed him off
yuki was js straight up mentally fcked up but also kind of overtaken by her want to impress sam
