I've been meaning to make a #3Dtutorial some time now due to several people asking,''HOW DO U MAKE 3D LIEK DAT?" and stuff like that. ,P
Anyway, I hope you weren't too bored with it, and that you did get at least something out of it :)
(Btw, if you did get something out of it, and you used it in a painting, I would like to see how you did, so if you could put #tipfran in your discription, that would be great! :D)
One last thing! Check out #Nipsu and #Twarda if you haven't already! Thanks!
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

this is top grade here, like for an example my Colors In Orbit #orbit5 painting. It uses this very technique here that Franman has shown. Once you learn this, its possible to make anything smooth and spectacular.

at the end when he suppsedly erases the ball he really just move it to the back layers

Ah, yes, it's great that you explained it, since I get asked this a lot too and I was like, "How do I explain layer edge errasing?" Also, you kept the words from getting too fast, which some tutorials do, which was helpful too. Of course, since I do this, this might make sense to me easier, so maybe other people's feedback will actually be more helpful than mine. Though I would like to say that, in my last two paintings, I've moved onto this technique of having the erraser be slightly or even mostly on the lowerst opacity to errase out fine details and sort of "cheat" the layer limit. I wish I could explain this.... Hmmm.... I'll think about it. Anyway, thank you for sharing!

Very good tutorial. I have used this method only once and it works well.
