1.5 hr plein-air. Where i was standing, it smelled like sewage, a guy took a pee 5 ft away from me, 2 drug deals, 2 ladies of the street on the corner. CrazyTown!

oops.. actually the street corners are East Hastings & Columbia St. You can Google Streetview it and see it for yourself! :)

I've been to Vancouver, it's not that safe in Downtown Vancouver, but cool painting!

Yeah, that is a very crazy area. But the craziest usually have the best run down buildings and the greatest atmosphere. Not sure if you have ever been to Victoria, but the Janion and the other Junk Buildings have been bought, they are the oldest buildings downtown. I am happy to see them not left to rot anymore, but also I will so miss seeing them as they are, mysterious, run down and full of wonderful atmosphere and tons of room for imagination.

Glorious. Birdies are fleeing in respect... "Hey, folks, that guy/girl (?) down there is doing a sweet paint of this building. Let's show some respect and get out the way." Hehe... a pity the birdies didn't realise their presence really sells the scene.
