new leaf, because its an endless game but in harvest moon there is a real ending. thats why favor acnl

also, once you meet somebody on streetpass on acnl you get to see theyre house and buy stuff from it. this gives you a chance to get rare and japanese items harvest moon has almost no streetpass/spotpass capabilities
