No, not a fail. The mountains are good, they look like rocks. Could have perhaps done without the purple scribble, or purple only in select spots. The clouds can either be gone over the edges with the eraser at low opacity to soften them, or use the soft brush on low opacity. Clouds have no real sold form, and they have no right or wrong shape. Observe nature, look at photos, look on utube and watch play-backs here on that art you like. Everything can teach you something. Good luck. If you are serious, you will prevail.
