Squares a and b are the same shade of gray. They look different cause its an illusion! (I saw this online and decided to test it with the color dropper. It worked! Then I just decided to paint it XD (i HAD to trace the colors so it was exact in order for it to work)

They actually are the same...copy it and test it out with the color dropper if you don't believe me! :)
