Dragoness, that you must adhere to in order to officialy own this Rige. The first ( and I know you wouldn't do this ) is to not draw her in any explicit scenes or poses. Two, you cannot give this Rige away and when or if you ever grow tired of her, I will take back ownership of this Rige. Three, and please don't ask any questions about this, you may not post her, talk about the Rige species or even mention the word " Rige " on deviantART unless you are in a private conversasion with Van, raven, or both. If you agree to those terms, you will be the official owner and caretaker of her.

Each Rige is born with a natural set of stripes called " Spark Stripes ". They only glow under black light and are more natural in shape then the unnaturaly occuring " Pulse Stripes ". Pulse Stripes can glow under any light at anytime unless designed not to do so by a Rige with the " Pulse " Source ( they are known as " Light Curriers " and are considered blest by The Light, the all-powerful, all-encompasing, and all-knowing god and are commisioned to design and bestow a Rige with their Pulse Stripes ) and are first bestowed upon a Rige when he or she is aprentecing under a master, or " Sunway ", in their chosen medium which the Rige call a " Way ". A Rige usualy chooses his or her Way based on the power, or " Source ", that they possess. The same type of Sources do occure in multiple Rige. When a Rige is initiated they're position in their job and in Rige society, or " Lighting ", is a " Flint ". There are eleven Lightings: Flint, Spark, Ember, Dim, Waver, Glow, Burn, Shine, Brilliance, Blinding, Sunway, and, on the rarest of occasions, Lighten. Lighten are consider are held in asteem above all others. A Rige can become a Lighten only if they have honed their Source to its fullest potential ( Like if a Rige has the power to levitate water, they can lift an entire lake ). Pulse Stripes are placed on certain areas during the ceremony, or " Shining " according to their Way. For Hunters, their markings are placed under thee eye's, on the top of their front feet, above their hind legs down to the tip of thier tail, at the base of their Flash Blade, on the left front shoulder blade, left portruding tooth and, if they become a Lighten, on the tuft of fur on the tip of their head called a " Vents ". ( More info soon! )

( Thanks guys! I forgot this part. ) The more Pulse Stripes a Rige earns, the more esteem, respect, and recognition they are given. Being given a Pulse Stripe is like earning college degree. The more you earn, the liklier you are to get a get a job, or " Task ", in your Way, you'll be more confident, be more hansome to other Rige, your oppinion will be taken inro consideration, and in all your life will be better. For Rige whom have no Pulse Stripes at all and are past the average age of when you become an apprentice under a Sunway ( which is around thirteen to eighteen thousand years, or " Highlights " ), you are dirt beneath everyone's feet. Your percieved as a slacker, a failure, a no-good piece of Vishieshk. Most Rige will avoid making eye contact with those Rige or even talk to them. Some refuse to sell to you and will make up excuses why. They are given an acceptible percentage of cival courtesy, but its clear from the look in the other Riges eye's that they think far less of you then a normle Rige. Rige without Pulse Stripes are known as " Dislighters " while Rige with atleast one Pulse Stripe are known as " Lighters ".
