Very good. Looks great on the DS.
3D done smoothly. I don't like breaking up main areas, I find natural breaks and use those. It is easier in landscapes than in doing people or anime or animals. A lot put the slider up too far, causing the subject to simply look as if it was a puppet instead of a natural looking 3D. It is better to not use 3D than to use it poorly, I think. Of first importance is making things appear 3D when drawing or painting in good old fashioned 2D, that teaches you how distance really works, from there you can branch out a bit into placing different things on different layers to take advantage of the 3D affect.

Thanks for the comment on my Shiftry picture.
It's good to know that my way of texturing hair can seem like shading to others.
I was going for random and messy when I did his hair, so maybe I did a decent job.
