I started off just with this rusty sky colour after seeing a painting with a similar colour scheme. And from a doodled stroke I imagined Batman rising up into the sky after a hard night's crime fighting, before he heads home. Usually he is presented at night, in half shadows, but I think this would be a fun twist on the usual way he's presented.
