It's obviously referring to the monster. :P
(on a serious note, I heard an English was a move in pool, and as the rest of the Felt is based on pool, it seems likely because Lord English is the cuestick (or the poolboard itself???), Doc Scratch is the cueball, and if you kill 8, Sn0wman, you destroy the universe because the eightball isn't supposed to go in a hole before the end of the game. It's all pretty genius if you ask me)
