This happend yesterday to me. I was sitting next to my friend that was sitting next a boy I have HUGE crush on. My friend whispers in my ear, "Should I tell him you like him?" and I'm like, "NO.NO.NO.NO.NO. DON'T EVEN DARE!"
Last year I had a crush on a different boy, and a different friend of mine tells him, "She likes you," and points to me. I'm like, "Oh sh!t," I felt SO embaressed. >_<

That's oftenly how two people start going out because they're too shy to admit their crush themselves. If they don't like you back then there's nothing lost as you'll know now it wasn't meant to be. Be greatful for those type of friends, even if they are annoyingly embarrassing.
