Uhm . . . It is proven. If it wasn't it wouldn't even be accepted as a scientific theory. If you want proof just look at the fossil record and how everything in it fits perfectly into place in accordance to the correct time period from which they were expected to have existed. Or take a look at how it occurs on a smaller scale where various members of the same species that have been seperated in the past adapt to their environment in different ways to each other. This on a much larger scale to where a whole species has changed in this way so much to become a completely different species is called evolution. If you'd rather see these kind of changed happening infront of you in a smaller time frame then perhaps the study of a faster reproducing/evolving organism might suit you more. Like bacteria for instance change and evolve so quickly into new strands of bacteria. Newer more advanced speciesmof bacteria are being found all the time and it's becomming quite a problem as some strands of bacteria are evolving an immunity to antibiotics. So yes. There is proof if you choose to pull your finger out your @$$ and go look for it. You don't even have to look far. Peace out ;)
Creation: The GENUINELY unproven belief that an invisible man in the sky whom you cannot reach built eveything in the Universe in 7 days 6,000 years ago which is younger than genuine historical documents from Asia. Religion is on the way out, whether you like it or not.
You won't find any answers about the beginning of everything from the theory of evolution because the theory of evolution has nothing to do with the beginning of everything. That'd be like looking for information about rocks in a book about trees. The theory of evolution just explains how biological organisms are able to evolve into other biological organisms over a large period of time. There are other pretty conclusive theories that might be able to explain how everything began based on a lot of knowledge and evidence we do have and know. One of these theories which seems to crop up a lot is the big bang theory. What you must know though is that science does NOT claim to know everything as that would be unrealistic and naive. What it does do though is evaluate in much detail all that can be evaluated, and from that, form the solid grounds from which the most accurate of truths can be formed. So whilst I'm admitting that there are some things science can't be completely 100 percent sure of just yet, it's a lot more accurately justifyable than what some people one day decided to write into a bible based on no evidence that we can evaluate.
Not personally no. But I know you exist because you are conciously responding to what I'm saying in a way that can't be disreguarded for being anything else. Also I'm pretty sure that you're not god.
you are right i am not God but the same thing applys: you have not seen me, but you have seen things that i made and you have read thing that i have written. so you could, in a sense say that i have made it obvious that i exist. God does the same thing: He has made the universe that you can see and He has given us His Word in the Bible, therefore He has revealed Himself to you.
It's very different though. I know you exist and are a concious being because you can react appropriately to things I say and do. Plus it's very normal for people to write messages on their computers/phones/3DS as it happens every day and can be proved to be happening all around. With the god thing, there is no concious reaction and yet god is supposed to be powerful enough to do anything. I'll ask a question but I'll get no appropriate reply or even any reply at all. Also, gods can't be proved to be behind the workings of everything like people can be proved to be behind these messages online so it's just not natural to believe it. If an unmistakable voice called down from the sky saying it was god or he mysteriously appeared in my living room when asked and so say for everyone else in the world I would believe. As I'm sure everyone would then.
(to omniscient) God does consiencely give answers. but there are a few things you have to understand (1)God is not bound by time and so you can find the answer to (almost) anything in His word(the Bible) (2) you have to actualy look for an answer (3) you have not turned to Him, do you think you would like to have a conversation with someone who had there back to you? "the LORD answers the prayers of the wise but He is far from the wicked" or something like that
omniscient,(1) you expect to hear God's voice but you have not turned to Him only those who repent of there sins and follow Him can hear His voice and even then it's usually not audiable. and(2) no one can see Gpd without dieing.
So much for his ability to do anything then. If he did do any of these things I said, then pretty much all people would turn to him because then they'd know he was actually there. Instead he chooses to expect people to believe blindly in everything written in a book, solely because the writing in that book says it's true and to do so. :s
He will come and reveal Himself, but that won't be the time for choosing, that will be the time for discovering what side you have truly chosen, just as the author only comes on stage when the play is over so God will come in the end
uh.....well ok let me explain, it wasnt an explosion, it was this dense singularity compressed to a size smaller then an atom, we dont know what triggered the expansion of the universe yet, but our universe is still expanding, we can tell because of red-shift, galaxies still seem to be moving away. which supports the big bang theory, also cosmic microwave backround radiation gives it a stronger possibility of being the case. as for evolution, it never said monkeys turned into humans, this isnt pokemon, evolution says we share a common ancestor with them. i think mixed dog breeds are a good example of evolution, i think that the mixed dog breeds part should simplify it. also genetic mutations are a possibility, dependin on whether the mutation gives the animal a advantage it gets passed on, evolution does happen, we just dont fully understand how it works, im not a biology expert, i understand astronomy more than anything, but i hoped i cleared things up.
as for the meaning of the universe, there isnt a universal meaning in my opinion, that doesnt mean its not worth living in it, it depends on who you ask really. some peoples answers will defer from mines.

I am sorry most of you beilive evolution and I pray that God would reveal the truth to you

evolution still doesn't have a proven explanation for the begining

Also I agree with you though Mr.Man. If there is a god, I wish he/she would reveal themselves to me too. Then I wouldn't have any reason to doubt.

have you ever seen me?
