Bare in mind you don't need a special mask for cha-cha or sub-ballista shots to draw it...

*edit* Just saw your post about bowguns! I use Bows and bowguns mostly, I can solo with the best of 'em and I take grear pride in supporting my team when playing online!
I also dabble in a bit of long sword and gunlance too. Actually, I prefer gunlance for fighting Naruga Kurugas!

I probably would have found it hard to draw a monster (I can paint, but once I get specific about what I'm painting it gets too hard)
I'm not a master at shading, but I've had practice & lots of helpful information.
Also its a rose, just a random rose. Sort of represents the girl's heart, because she's being painted so she doesn't have to recognize herself anymore. There isn't any blood on her, just paint.

well for an obvious mistake, ceadeus has one horn much bigger than the other and take up most of the front of its face.

Thank you for the info, I've read a few reviews, several comments, not many videos with the 3ds version.
Yeah I already know the game is a bi.tch without the CPP. But what really made me hesitant is that when I played MH tri, after you beat offline it gets really boring in moga village, & you dont do much besides farm for materials there for online play. I like a consistant challange & a lot replay value. But maybe I'm asking for too much? I dunno?
I also got hesitant about the graphics (yes yes call me shallow. I know a good game doesn't rely on graphics.) Online I'd just go play with my buds, but the beauty, sharpness & sounds of the envirements were a real treat for me, I'd just hang out with cha cha & watch the glaciers float by at camp.... BWAH.
I'll probably eventually get it, I dont know anybody who has the 3ds game. So I'll be alone if I get the 3ds copy, & I'll only get the wii u version if I have a stable home & a good TV with wifi. (I've moved four times in the past two years.)

Well the 3DS has graphics that are pretty much HD in relation to its size and it does look very pretty and work really well in 3D (Actualy.. a xenoblades chronicles release on the 3DS would be a dream!).

Theres deffinate continuity value. As I said you're able to go to the tavern even if you have no one to hunt with. There you can build up your HR unlocking more (and more challeging) quests. Theres also event quests you can do, some of them offer a challenge. I just did one that had me hunt the great baggi, gigginox and the Barioth in one hunting session. Theres also the option to do arena quests too. so yeah, challenges a plenty!

I know that quest, I'm pretty sure it gives you things to craft a weapon. *One of my favorite weapons* <3

I havn't had my wii with me in about a year, so I've never heard about the servers getting shut down. Did it really? that game was so incredibly popular... maybe they're trying to force people into buying the 3ds & wii u version of the game? Almost like saying "it doesn't matter anymore since the games are nearly identical"?
Nintendo & capcom can make some great games, but they can be really shi.tty people sometimes. -_- Like making a game & still charging the people for DLC, they already have so much money, do they really need more?
