I want to raise awareness of the unjust laws being passed, around the world, against specific breeds of dogs. It is called breed specific legilation, BSL. There are many breeds on the list including Pitt Bull Terriers, Dovermans, Rottweilers, German Shepards and many more. These dogs are being taken from the owners just because of their breed. Please draw a painting to raise awareness of these cruel laws. Tag them as #BSL or #StopBSL or #AnimalRights. Lets change the world with our art.

; n ; but i like german shepards... also shiba inu and dalmations... but yeah it sucks because i see too many reports in the news of people using those breeds as attack dogs and its a shame to see them put down when its the owners fault for training them like that.

They dont even have to be a vicious dog to be put down. BSL laws call for the dog to be taken and put down just because of its breed.

I also love German Shepards. My dad has a sweet Shepard named Cody. Cody wont be with us much longer. His hips are getting worse. Hip problems are common in older Shepards. He's only 11 though. The vets cant help him anymore. He's like a lil brother to me and seeing him like this breaks my heart.

I have a German Shepherd, and they would have to pry her from my cold, dead fingers before I ever let anyone take her, law or not!

GSDs are in BSL in your country? Plus 1 why America does the dumbest things. If They were so dangerous and tempremental, why do they use them in law enforcement and such. Just stupid.
However, Dobermans arent used in the army because they DO have a tendancy to snap for no reason.
That DOES NOT however make it ok to euthanise dogs just because of their breed. Most of the time its down to how they are/aren't trained and how the owner treats them.
What I dont understand is why little 'dogs' dont have any bans against them yet they're usualy the ones to attack people.

So true. Belfast Ireland is the worse about BSL. It's senseless and cruel to pets and pet parents.
