But have you had success?

Mechalemon

What is the easiest way to do it?

Mechalemon

As in techniques, tips, etc.

I tried before for about... two weeks with chimchar. Oh well I got a non-shiny with almost perfect iv's. I may try MMing DW Eevee. If it hatches w/o ability it'll be a Jolteon; with it it'll be an Espeon.

@Soboctrebor- Shiny patches are distinctly different, they glitter twice and they don't shake. They also last longer, and in D/P (not platinum) they had an orange hue, but in platinum they are silver. They also last longer than any other patch. You have a 1/200 chance. Good luck, and remember- DON'T WALK STRAIGHT UP!

Just only stay in 2 patches, walking back and forth. Take your time, I once broke a chain at 40 because I ran out of range trying to reset. It took me ten-thousand steps to get a (good) shiny Ryhorn.
