How about this, all the bad guys joins forces and plan to attack the good guys one by one untill most of them are weak. Until one day the good guys join forces but the bad guys were prepared for this moment, they build a super weapon...
Is that a good start for you? Can you also put Sonic in this it's ok if you can't.
