Even before Zenex became the Lunar Phoenix, he had a dark side that he always encounters in his dreams. He fights who he calls Dark Zenex each time he meets him in the dream world.
Despite all of this, the dark being also acts as a mentor for Zenex as well. When later events occur, Zenex and Dark Zenex shall finally meet in reality.
