Very awesome! But it isn't 8-bit. 8-bit sprites can only use max 4 colors (3 colors if it has transparent. Transparent counts as a color too.) and this sprite has 4 colors and transparent, so that means it uses five colors which a real NES wouldn't be able to handle. It has a technique that makes it possible to use more than four colors on a sprite, but that technique doesn't work if the sprite is smaller then sixteen pixels since NES uses an eight pixels grid. NES can handle four colors per scanline, so that means a sixteenxsixteen pixels sprite could use sixteen colors, but if they use that technique too much, there's no palettes left for the other objects since NES can't handle too much palettes.

I hope you understand what I mean, sorry if I'm confusing you.
