Yes, I do know what those words mean. Only the shadow knows what is hidden. (very old radio show) Anyway, hmm, I would hate to sleep on the floor. Spiders get you that way.

Umbra: A dark area, especially the blackest part of a shadow from which all light is cut off.
Ulterior: Existing beyond what is obvious or admitted; intentionally hidden.
It is important to note that both words are adjectives...
