I'm 36, been drawing for 34 years self taught. I was addicted to opiates for 7 years. Opiates made me not able to enjoy making art as it takes longer than a few minutes to gratify. Before that I hitchhiked across Canada squatting abandoned houses and having a gay old time. Instant pleasure exchanged for a lifetime of dissatisfaction.
